So after seeing The Father Ted Guy's Bad Movie Club on that twitter I realised we could do something similar here. So here's a proposal. I'm not sure if it is a good idea - but I thought I could throw it out there.

BeeXBox Live Bad Movie Club

Ingredients:
  • A chosen night once a month.
  • A Bad Film.
  • BOOZE (for the baby).
  • An external drive/usb flash drive/ipod to watch film on EggBox and/or DVD
  • XBL Gold (Parties are restricted to Gold I believe) and headset.
  • 8 or less Bezzies.

Cooking instructions.
1) Acquire film.
2) Simultaneously start film playing.
3) Belittle it.

Bad idea, as if I say I am interested, everyone chooses "save the last dance" and spends 2 hours laughing at me.

dont think you can use the live camera to show us your dance routines while the film is going on.

Of course an easier version would be to do exactly the same thing, but just on the forum. As long as the simultaneous start time is preserved. Infact WHY NOT BOTH.

I think it depends on the film chose. Off the top of my head Crank would be funny as possibly the worst/best action film of all time.

I'd be up for this. Plus it wouldn't shit up my Twitter feed, instead being contained in one thread.

I like this plan!

When I'm bored and nothing is on telly I like to go on justin.tv, watch bad films and make witty remarks take the piss out them. My favourite has been this.
Trailer here.

this sounds ace but I struggle getting time to play games let alone watch long films!
I do know where I can get a stash of 1 gig memory sticks though if you need a hand.

Crank is superb, yes.

Saw a trailer for Crank 2 when I saw the Watchmen. Doesn't really look as good.

EggBox Livens seems easier to be honest.

Another great film I watched that would work to bullshit over was Banuielle 13 (sic). A french action film about a free runner. A bunch of us watched it in french, without subtitles trying to work out what was going on.

It's was addictive and fun, and I felt like I followed it all.

Stop stealing my idea that I had a few weeks ago but didn't post. I would like to have some more obscure films that I would provide. Crank is a great film and I'd be happy to watch it but I have some real gems I'd love to share.

What I propose I do is convert things then upload them somewhere. Perhaps Grim.. would be kind enough to host the file for people to download. The address of file should be PMed only to those already listed as taking part to avoid complete bandwdth rapage. Or I can make a torrent of it. Or you can all register at http://cinemageddon.org

I prefer the Xbox idea, as it means I can be comfy and don't have to sit at my computer like a belm.

Plus it's more exclusive, like, so it'll be a special super secret club.

But I have loads and loads of crap b-movies that would be well worth a look.
