Mafia Goon LaceSensor could hear someone following him. Ever since killing Joans, he had been aware of this. He lead his assailant up towards the old cemetary; somehow it seemed fitting that this would be the final battleground.

He pulled the Glock from its holster and hefted it in his hand. He wondered if he would be the one to put a bullet through the head of GazChap, the maniacal Serial Killer.

LaceSensor jolted from this mental image as he heard a strange noise. Turning to where the sound was coming from, he froze as if his blood ran cold. Time seemed to be going in slow motion as GazChap pulled a Bosch hammer-drill from within his trenchcoat and charged at him, thrusting the drill straight into LaceSensor's eye-socket. LaceSensor screams as his optic nerves start spinning at 1,200rpm. After 300 revolutions, his screams fall silent.

GazChap looks over his fine work for one lingering second, then makes to turn around and walk away. However, as soon as he turned his head, he found himself staring down the barrel of Zardoz's own weapon. The last remaining Mafia Goon uttered "this is for my family, you fuck" through gritted teeth before splattering GazChap's brains all over the pavement.

A strange sense of satisfaction filled him as he saw GazChap's body slump to the floor. What would he do now? Where would he go? The Corleone family name would live on, but for how long?

THE END

Mafia victory then. Well done chaps. Also well down town, you bunch of fucking muppets.

As I've already said in the dead thread, inactive players who can't/won't post should really be encouraged to NOT SIGN UP and negate all the fucking waiting around that is the main downside of these games.

So close for the serial killer, if Zardoz had been drawn a townie he'd have actually won.

Interesting that the cult were one fewer than I thought. Obviously they tried to recruit one of the Mafia or me one night.

Cheers to myp for running the game, I've had a rather good laugh.

Nah. If Zardoz was townie it would have been LaceSensor doing the killing and I'd be dead anyway.

The very same town that spend all day defending a mafia goon, the muppets.

It sucks being a townie. You have power over nobody and you inevitably die. The town always dies. You suck town. Fucking town. Town.

Oh well, I'd better go off and eat my testicles.

Funnily enough the outcome would have been identical regardless of who got lynched on the last day.

The mafia got very lucky at the end though with all the attention going on the cult and SK. Well played Zardoz and Lace.

There were only ever 2 cult at any one time, there was little we could do.

We wanted comical gone on day 3, I'm amused I managed that while voting against his lynching.

It actually occured to me last night that there was a good chance Zardoz was mafia, as he was very keen to get on Comical's "I voted for Curiosity so I'm not a goon" list.
Unfortunately, I completely forgot to point this out this morning. :(

I'll explain here.

Day 2 - Craster gets vision saying Dudley is in the cult.

Craster is an idiot and assumes he's just been recruited.

Craster PMs me saying "Hi, I look good in these new robes"

I've only just been recruited myself so I don't realise either and PM him back copying jazzy saying "So it was Craster night 1, me night 2 then?"

So craster now knows who the cult leader is, despite being a townie. He is modkilled for intense stupidity.

Did the Mafia try and kill someone on night 1 or did they deliberately leave it to cause confusion?

The Seer and CCTV Operator roles worked better than in my wildest dreams. Runcle is the luckiest bastard ever - I couldn't believe it when Squirt got recruited and he watched the cameras he'd placed in his and Jazzy's rooms on the night it happened! :D

It all could've been different if kalmar hadn't chosen the vision to be between Zardoz and LaceSensor on his last night...

I may as well explain the codes I left here then.

On the first night, I toyed with the idea of leaving the message "The cat killed Curiosity" in an effort to frame kalmar (for having a kitty avatar). I then realised this was stupid because he'd been lynched by everyone, so changed it to "The cat sat on the mat" in ROT13. The message itself was meaningless but was designed to see how many people were familiar with ciphers.

Night 2, I wanted to frame Craster so I left the message "Nobody grooms my badgers.". The encryption was a variant on ROT13, but the key to decoding the message was to use the first letter of each word, get it's position in the alphabet and use that as the rotation value. Someone got close with "Nobody" and someone else got "zadgers" but nobody else got the connection.

Then Craster got himself modkilled and I found myself hoping that they wouldn't crack the code as it would make the frame attempt obvious.

Night 3 I tried to frame Dudley in a similar way. The cipher method was identical, the only difference being that the key to each word was the LAST letter instead of the first. The message read "The man in the angry dome."

Annoyingly, the Mafia took him out overnight and I again found myself hoping that the cipher wouldn't be cracked.

Then Joans got the vision about me and I stupidly lied about having a vision to try and get out of it. I'm amazed I didn't die the night that Sheepeh died, to be honest.

PS I viewed Sheepeh vs Runcle on the first day,
Joans vs Gazchap the next (that was a good one!)
and Lacesensor vs Zardoz the next.
The last one was a bit stupid because I did suspect them both of being Mafia, I just expected to be wrong on one of them :)

Fat lot of good Sheepeh was :ninja:

Hah, nice work. I did suspect the "cat" thing was a possible frame attempt (but didn't mention it obviously) - because someone did the exact same thing to me a couple of games ago :D

Good game, many thanks Myoptika.

Shame I had to die at the end, but the Mafia live on!

Hopefully we did Curiosity and BLueCup proud - the car bomb was a nod to BC the terrrrzt.

Well done for a good game, myoptika.

Well done to my Mafia buddies for surviving until the end amidst a blur of speculation.

Well done to Joans, zaphod, kalmar, Bobby and the others defending me for taking all the suspicion away from Zardoz and LaceSensor.

Well done to CG and Craster for pursuing these innocents with all the fury and tenacity we've come to know and love.

Well done to Gazchap, for killing a good portion of the town.

:D

Gaz - I decided to kill Sheepeh over you because I figured Sheepeh was mafia and Joans was just a vocal townie.

The Cult having 2 members was much more of a threat than you potentially killing on of the mafia overnight, but you did malc anyway.

our plan was higned on malc surviving and using him to tip the votes against you the SK the next day.

id love malc to explain why the hell he wanted to keep GJ alive

Well, he protected CG on the first night, so that was useful. He then got a vision about Runcle and protected him for the next two nights.

Stupidly, he then switched and Runcle got killed. :(

The last night before he died, he chose to tell everyone to FUCK THEMSELVES, as there were no cult members left. :DD

id love malc to explain why the hell he wanted to keep GJ alive

Seriously?

How the fuck did you people not know this, Malc was obviously the bugger from day 1. I SAID SO on day 1.

He needed gaz to get to 50% votes so he was free to vote FOR GJ without being modkilled or being forced to change his vote.

Fat lot of good Sheepeh was :ninja:

Well, he protected CG on the first night, so that was useful. He then got a vision about Runcle and protected him for the next two nights.

Stupidly, he then switched and Runcle got killed. :(

Ah fair play then. I had a go at both them repeatedly on day two (I'm surprised nobody noticed) and neither of them said anything, it can be a really bloody frustrating role :D

Sheepeh did defend runcle on day 3 I think as well, but I wasn't sure if that meant anything.

Just read through the dead thread and am pleased to note that I came under no suspicion until my reveal, except from Dudley who knew anyway due to the culty activities.

My vote for Joans - I reasoned that there was virtually no way I could win (regardless of who got lynched on the last day, I'd have died that night) so I basically tossed coins to decide who to vote for.

That and I was insane and was essentially pleading to die ever since I was exposed :P

Good game, cheers Myp.

Despite me dying on Day 1 at the hands of people who will pay later.
