On a kayak, on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, TX. Heading towards the Congress Avenue Bridge to see the bat colony.

Hope you did a better job of steering that than we did rowing that bloody boat in Canada :DD :DD
Yeah, turns out it's dead easy when it's just one of you in the boat!

There were a few people on the tour that were in tandem kayaks and they all had similar issues to us (but not as bad as Pete and Zan though...)
At the UK Games Expo.

Okay, everyone play "Where's Kern?"
Over there at the back
Not sure about Kern, but apparently I was there! Bottom left, just to the right and up a bit from the guy in the blue T-shirt.
In the checked shirt?
Checked? Check? Cheque? Chequered?
IT'S TAYLOR EVE
I met my new granddaughter and we took our first selfie while her parents went to find the car that was lost in the ridiculous sized carpark.
Aww, congrats Jazzy!
Aw, congratulations to you, Jazzy. That is a very cute pink buggy.

Is your new grandchild a sister to C, or do you have a brand new daddy in the family?
Thank you Meems, M sounds s C's sister. C, who is just finishing her GCSEs and is leaving school this month. :s
Weirdly, I was thinking of her just yesterday and thought she must be coming up to 16. My goodness, that time really does whoosh by.

Are you going to be doing any sewing for the new arrival if you find time?
I will, but not just yet. She's got a lot more f clothes at the moment, and I'd rather wait until I have a dedicated space again.
Hotel bathroom!
Feeding the duck that comes for breakfast
Strange things are afoot...

He's at the Circle K.
I walked into that one.

How did you walk into a shop where you don't know it's location?

Taken in Norway, up in the Lofoten Islands.

Probably not the most scenic shot I took on the trip, but definitely the most appropriate one for here!

Very caerphilly.
Cheers from Turkey.

(44°!!!)
The auto-cropping on that is fab, it looks like someone put sunglass on a sunburnt knee.
That’s very kind of you x

Cheers, we do our best.
Went to a murder party on Friday and was cast as an affable aristocrat full of bonhomie. Costume choice was pretty easy, as you can see.

I arrived with a bottle of white wine for the hosts and a bottle of cava "for character work".
Perfect casting

Except there's an 'L' missing at the beginning of 'affable.'

L'affable sounds like a French character, perfect for adding another layer of acting to the party.

Just needs a 'Compte' in front of it as well.

And then a butler to announce his arrive, 'Mesdames et messieurs, je vous présente le Comte (stupide) L'Affable.'

(No offence, Mr Kern.)
Swanpool beach, November '24.
I was there myself, only a few weeks ago.

Correction, it was Gyllyngvase Beach, next one along the coast.
Yeah we stopped there but it was too choppy for the paddleboard so went next door where it was also too choppy.
