It's the last day of May (how etc?) and I think I've worn jeans and socks more than shorts/bare foot (I've even worn jeans out!) this month.

I usually transition to shorts in late March early April, I also still have the thick duvet on. I hope the onset of June signifies that I can put the Jeans away until October!
I'd have thought that the BBC would know that the Commodore PET wasn't available until 1977. IIRC, this was the first personal computer I ever used.

Last month it was announced that a newly discovered skeleton of the iconic dinosaur Stegosaurus would be up for auction, with an expected sale price of about $6m (£4.7m).

This just makes the auction scene from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom even stupider. If a skeleton is worth $6m, surely a living dinosaur is worth a lot more than $10m!
If I were a multimillionaire I’d definitely be buying a stegosaurus for £9m

I’d give it to the NHM, but it’d 100% be the kind of nonsense of be spending my riches on.

Supply and demand kicks in to lower prices, when your dinosaurs are self replicating and more plentiful.

Yeah, but you'd very selectively breed them and kill the crap ones and feed them to their siblings.
Probably worth more if you put them in a big crusher and turned them into oil.
I reckon if you bought a load of dinosaurs and then set up a rival theme park where the dinosaurs didn't keep on escaping and eating people you could make a few quid.

They would... uh... find a way
Weirdly, while I was away one of the fields in my BeeX profile said "I buy and sell Crypto" so I think maybe I was minorly hacked.

Although it was sort of true in that I bought a bit a few years ago, it plummeted, then a couple of years later it came back and I got rid for a minor profit (but mainly just so that I could get rid of that bullshit).
I like the way that google maps was you of toll roads and a change of time zone, but not the Russian army
A friend of mine just put this post up.

GUTTED! We've just got a code through to purchase "Obstructed view) (I think it's the VIP tent in the way) ERAS tour tickets TONIGHT in Cardiff.
Unfortunately we can't make it tonight as we're going to Dublin show instead, so if you'd like the code to purchase just shoot me a message. Tickets are £140 each

Am I just massively behind the times or is £140 an insane amount to pay for a concert ticket, let along one where you can’t see? I know it’s been a while since I went to a concert but OMG is this normal?
Its a lot, but I bet you could resell any tickets for Taylor Swift for waaaaaay more than 140 quid each right now.

Although I've no idea how the resell protecton etc works nowadays, I'm sure they don't just post you a couple of bits of paper anymore.
I know that some people pay ridiculous amounts for tickets (I’m sure I saw someone mention they’d spent £300 for tickets, which I assumed was for two, but maybe it was each?) but definitely thought they were outliers. I thought those were cases where someone loves an artist so much that they’ll pay hugely over the odds to see them, not an actual ‘normal’ ticket price. A ticket price where you can’t even see!
This view was £110.

Tents are the grey ones either side. Most of the show is on that diamond island.

Taylor worth every penny.

Anything with 'Arena in the venue name seems.to be about three figures, then it'll scale from a band like Dry Cleaning at £22 through £40 for Travis etc at smaller venues.
Tour T shorts are £40 and hoodies £70
Christ... Travis are still a thing?
Note the people sitting in the stands BEHIND THE STAGE
She waved at them, though. She's so kind and thoughtful.
The eras show is almost three and a half hours long, which worked out at £2.40 a song.

3.5 hours? Yikes.

That does make the cost slightly better, but I can’t imagine paying that much to see anybody.
Pool's out for summer.
Were you doing a back-flip when you took that?
You'd have thought he'd have woken up, wouldn't you?
