Hello All,

My son, known to all as The Boy, is a goalkeeper in an Under-10s football team. We're looking to raise some funds for kit and for an event shelter for summer tournaments. To do this we're doing a thing called "footy cards" (which is apparently a well-known thing that I've never heard of.

How it works, is I sell you guys a square on this here card...

Attachment:

... for £5 a time and when it's full, I scratch off that silver panel and whichever person's square is revealed gets SIXTY BLOODY QUID! How good is that??

So, if you're interested, PM me with the square you want and I'll send you a link for payment.
I'll keep submissions open until Friday 3rd March 4pm.

GOOD LUCK

League one too of the tablers Sheffield Wednesday, please.

Also, how can you not have heard of these? Was a staple at the flat roofed boozer I used to drink in. That, and the meat raffle.

If it's available, Derby please [because Cottage]

Otherwise I'll trust your judgement on which team is least problematic.

Ahh, gwan, I'll take one if there are any free. Part of my New Year Resolutions was to do more small donations to good causes.

Also, I'd feel bad being mean about the wonky clip-art if i didn't donate!

It’s a great idea. I’ve never seen these cards before, either. They do look like they were produced in 1985, though. It’s only the phone number that makes them look like they were likely printed afterwards.

What did you rub it gently with the edge of in the end?

The Boy used a special coin.

Generously, MrsPaz is donating her winnings in full to the football team. Only fair really
