We have been told, we are working form home till July 6th, then will be evaluated then.

Interestingly, my brother's manager has called to say that his company (Xerox) have heard from the govmt that they should furlough until the end of June.
Nothing on the news yet..

Sorry,.

I don’t think this is coronavirus top trumps here. We’re all going through tough times in different ways and should support each other as best we can.
Hey all, it's been ages since I've posted (if you even remember me).

Just wanted to check in and hope you are yours are all okay in all this madness.

I were just wondering the other day where you'd gone. I clearly have amazing recalling powers.
Having a baby and more work responsibilities has basically destroyed my ability to twat about on the internet. Mistakes of my own making!
Oh wow, congratulations! :)
Congrats, that is fab news...
I decided I am going to get dressed today. Trying for normal.
Good Try, mate. Next time.
Ha ha... i don't thin any of us is truely normal...
I am ordering black paint for my lounge :)

It's a bit late in life to be going through your goth phase, no?

For the projector screen surround, obviously. You'll need Dulux Grey Steel 2 for the actual screen.

Was reading a pretty interesting article yesterday stating that not one single case of a child under 10 transmitting the virus has been identified. Not just here but in all the contact tracing done by WHO. More study is needed but that would ease things a lot if true and nurseries and primary schools could reopen. Or we could train up all the under tens as key workers.

There were more than one scientist on twitter yesterday debunking this idea that kids can't transmit the virus. Obvs twitter, so obligatory 'grain of salt' notice...

I'll save the link if any of them pop up again.

This wasn't one of the tweets I saw originally but has lots of interesting info:

Reasonably confident I am 100% recovered now, and I did not pass it on to anyone else.

Good to hear. :)

Great news.
My daughter lost her maternal grandmother to this a few weeks ago. She was elderly and suffering from dementia and in care.

My ex partners son lost his paternal grandmother to this last weekend. She was elderly, suffering from dementia and in care.

My ex partner is recovering slowly. She still has very little energy
So sorry to hear that, best wishes to you all.

Good stuff, Lewie. Are you feeling ok or still drained from it all?

Was feeling lingering symptoms as long as five weeks after symptoms started, but completely back to normal now.
Just watched the Prime Minister's broadcast. Felt it was pretty rambling and not quite sure what the key message was.
I heard a load of fucking dangerous guff.

Just erm sort of carry on as you were but actually don't but don't blame us when more people start dying.

:this:

People are going to think we'll start to go back to normal this week, and it'll all be over by July. Based on what he said, I don't what's actually going to change come Wednesday, other than sitting on a park bench.

As a speech, it was all over the place. He also drfited off into campaign mode, waved his arms out, and started spouting empty slogans, which was utterly inappropriate for a ministeral broadcast. Just as well it wasn't live. How many takes did it need?
So, it's safe to go to work and sit 2 metres away from someone but it's not safe for me to go visit my mom who lives on her own and sit in the garden with her?

Got it.

Seriously though, I bet there's a fair few people up and down the country that have had a shock that they will have to go to work tomorrow.
Get to work or die trying. The government have washed their hands.
Great! Now all* I need is some work!

I'm glad they're practicing what they preach.

Probably right.

It's the next installment from the evil cunts who brought you Brexit. Classic Dom.
I think I am cycnical, nothing has changed with the virus, yet we can go out more....

I think you're cyclical.
Yeah, and we heard you the first time.
But something HAS changed, we've got a new slogan.

Very interesting and aligns with what I think is close to the truth

But is that consultancy actually run by the Russians?

It was classic project plan silliness. The topic at hand is a very movable feast, but someone (?) wants timescales. So let's give them timescales and caveat it. Then the public can ignore the caveats.

Ouch. That's pretty painful listening. No doubt the advice will have changed again by the lunchtime one.
