We've learned a few things this morning, boys and girls. We've learned one important thing, and that is that poor little Malc74 isn't getting any presents this year, because he's gone on Santa's naughty list. Poor little tyke. Nobody loves him after all.

Malc74 was a good little boy

The other thing we've learned is that your idea of jokes are about as funny as necrotising fasciitis. Still, someone had to win it, but I'm not telling you who, and I'm not telling you what they won!

[playerlist]
TheFireFaerie
Slightly Green
Goddess Jasmine
Trooper
MaliA
KovacsC
Saturnalian
Alarm
sdg
Malc
kalmar
zaphod79
[/playerlist]

With 12 players still in, 7 votes are required to put someone on the naughty list, and 7 votes are required to not put anyone on the list. Day 5 will end midday on Monday unless the required votes arrive sooner. BEGIN!

I was asking a fair question, it could easily have been a setup. As you will see I came round to agreeing with the consensus. FOS you for using that as an excuse against an good boy!

On phone so not easy to make long posts - as Malia says FOS at kalmar for voting against someone using a gift to tell us who a baddie was

Big FoS on Malc and Kalmar for jumping on me yesterday.

Even though I was a idiot and suggested that it may be a duff pressie (yes I think Cras could be that evil), both Kalmar and Malc voting straight for me and not the person named as a Goblin is very odd.

Anyone have any more information they want to share with the group?

I won the night action with an amazing joke, it was a protect night action and I selfishly chose myself as I was allowed to.

So no extra info from that I'm afraid!

If we are looking at sus people from yesterday, and I would be more inclined to go for malc, as he was on my original list and Nickachu thought he was bad IIRC?

And Kalmar has defended Malc vigorously on previous days, so if Malc does turn out to be bad then Kalmar is looking even worse.

Also Malc got my spider senses tingling yesterday when he became very defensive after I suggested him and Kalmar voting for me was dodgy, he instantly used the fact he voted for curio as a reason he couldn't be bad, it makes it more unlikely but by no means proves he is good.

With regards to TFF I am thinking she is more than likely good, if she hadn't admitted to offing Nik then it is possible I would have been listed instead of the Goblin Squirt yesterday, also I believe that the goblins/grinch targeted her on the night that Nik got offed, as the pressie I received had a self protection role which Cras forgot to mention to me until the morning after, and I guess that TFFs had the same. The other possibility is that the Goblins and Grinch also targeted Nik.....

HO HO HO! I am Santa himself!

On night one I remembered Trooper was on the good list. On night two, TheFireFaerie was also good. Night three saw me recalling sdg was on the good list, and last night, Malc was on it, too.

So, of the players remaining, TheFireFaerie, Trooper, sdg, Malc and myself I know are all sweetness and light. This leaves:

Kalmar
Slightly Green
Kovacs
Saturnalian
Alarm
Zaphod79

whom I know nothing about.

I suspect Slightly Green is good for offering up Squirt.

We only need seven votes, so um, yeah, let us look back at days past and see what they did!

HO HO HO.

Ha, excellent!
Well I can assure you I'm on the good list too, despite the touch of paranoia yesterday.
And I'm pleased to see Malc is on there, one hunch correct anyway.

I'm inclined to think Kalmar is a baddie, simply because that was initial hunch all along. I also reckon he saw the votes going against him, Malc and t'other and switched votes just so he could try and avoid suspicion. Suspicion that I am pointing firmly right up in his face hole.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was the mastermind Grinch.

[vote: kalmar]

With 5 known goodies, we have a strong power block. I think we could absorb a couple of wrong calls with eleven players left.

This makes very little sense, so I reckon it's a hurried attempt to bandwagon me.
Interesting you're still painting Malc as bad after Santa himself has cleared him!

To be fair I realise I've dug my own grave a bit here, having voted against MaliA on day 1 (basically for a laugh) and then tormenting SG yesterday, both of whom are now able to call the shots :)

Hooray goodbye another smelly Goblin Squirt *twirls about and about in the snow*

Oh but poor little Malc74, one of our good little boys! *a tear falls down her cold pale cheek and drips onto the snow* We must get the rest of these terrible Goblins!

SG is on my quite likely good list, I know there's always the double bluff give up one of your own to buy your innocence possibility, but having given us bad boy Squirt, and as it's Christmas, I'll go with benefit of the doubt of for now *blows a kiss at SG*

I agree it does look slightly suss that Kalmar jumped at naughtying SG so quickly yesterday, but I also think that would be a somewhat dippy thing of a bad guy to do, it's just so obvious. Soooo... very much unsure about Kalmar for now.

*twirls pigtail while pondering who else is on the maybe list*

Alarm is actually the one really setting off my Alarmbells (sorry, had to *girly giggle*) at the moment. Almost a really quiet one, but not entirely, speaking up just enough to be remembered for having said something, but looking back at all the days, has said nothing what so ever of real opinion, has played the I'm not sure card most days, and yesterday voted, unvoted and then revoted for Squirt, which seems like fellow Goblin stalling until it was too sure a thing not to join in and get FOSsed to me. Also passed the parcel to Squirt (wouldn't you give it to a baddie mate in hopes of a prize?).

Will happily go for a majority to make sure we get a lynch, but this is my thinking for the day so far... I'm going to go and do some reading up on the other unknowns, too! *skips off up the snowy lane to the library*

*running down the path from the library*

Well, here's a bit of a round up girls and boys...

1 Santa Claus - MaliA, presumably!
1 Grinch - ONE STILL TO CATCH
2-5 Goblins - 2 on the naughty list, I'm going to guess there's at least one, if not TWO MORE TO CATCH
2-3 Super Junior Investigators - 2 on the naughty list, doubt there's another one but... MAYBE ONE MORE
6-13 Good Children - 3 on the naughty list, 4 confirmed in play by santa. With 12 players left, based on the above, I'd say there's THREE MORE ON THE UNKNOWN LIST

So... 1 Grinch, 2 Goblins, 1 SJI and 3 Good Girls / Boys out of:

Kalmar
Slightly Green
Civics
Saturnalian
Alarm
Zaphod79
Goddess Jasmine

FWIW, I passed the parcel to two random people: Squirt (who we now know was a bad 'un) and Slightly Green (who MailA says is a good egg).

I was the person who suggested we look at how people passed the parcel. I'm on my mobile - perhaps someone else can do a full analysis?

Ahh. I just re-read MailA's post. He doesn't confirm SG as a good egg; he suspects "Slightly Green is good for offering up Squirt".

Yep I'm on my phone as well but someone with the time or inclination could check parcel passes/voting patterns?
I'm tempted to vote for one of the quiet unknowns, especially if they have been even more quiet since Santa appeared.

Personally, reading back through the past days, Kalmar and SG both strike me as being good.

of the unknowns (assuming malia is santa)

Voting history
Kalmar (malia, slightly green, curiosity, didn't vote)
Slightly Green (bobbyaro, bobbyaro, curiosity, squirt)
Kovacs (didn't vote, didn't vote, curiosity, didn't vote)
Saturnalian (kalmar, didn't vote, curiosity, squirt)
Alarm (didn't vote, bobbyaro, didn't vote, squirt)
Zaphod79 (bobbyaro, bobbyaro, malc, didn't vote)
Goddess Jasmine (didn't vote, didn't vote, curiosity, didn't vote)

The only person to have consistently voted scummily is Zaphod79.

[vote:zaphod79]
I think we also could suspect late voters against curio though, it's very common for the baddies to join in the tally late on when it looks like there's no stopping it. People who have avoided voting other days too, like kov. Just sayin.

Pile on! All the boys and girls turn and leap on Zaphod79, dishing out a mix of Chinese burns, noogies, and wet willies until he cries out "Stop! I admit it! I'm a Goblin and I wanted to steal all your presents for myself!"

Night actions to me by midday Monday please.
