Russ and Curio are both often killed early, I could easily seem the concoct that plan between themselves to stop the losing just because of who they are.

They are usually killed off early as they talk too much. I think they'd need to dial it down a bit. But not trying to arouse suspicion, zaphod style.

Although a sacrifice of 2 if there is an investigative role is a bit too much. Its not like they were under pressure.

Maybe curio is as busy as he says he is? It just seems odd that he basically accepted the accusation without any resistance?

I hope, that if Russ is who he says he is (skeptical) he does investigate Grim... Tonight.

I was more worried by Ms Faerie since she was chatty on the first day then went quiet, like someone whose interest got piqued by an interesting PM. Also Ian is setting my bells ringing for reasons I can't put my finger on, so write that one up as a shot in the dark.

I do believe Russ still as it happens; I do wonder if the Agent who the town believes is protecting him actually is though? I think if I were them I probably wouldn't bother, since the bad guys will likely assume he is protected and not target him anyway.

Mildly disappointed with the amount of participation, I was hoping not having voting would force people to talk more to work stuff out, but no such luck . It was worth a try.

Well, no. Two in a row is lucky, but Grim... did paint a huge sign above himself saying "Investigate me, it's very much in your favour", so no real luck with the third involved.

So, if we still believe Russ, and I do, then he and Kat have been able to talk to each other all this time and both have had investigation powers, yes? He probably felt more comfortable role-claiming because he thought he had a secret partner in the event that he got bumped off or interrogated... it also explains the way they have been able to hit bad guys so regularly - they've had twice as much chance of success than we thought. I suppose Kat finally decided it was time for the double cross and fed Russ Grim...'s name as a bad guy, hoping to get him into trouble; it's a shame she got bumped off in the night, because it would have been interesting to see how the post-Grim... ruckus played out between them. Would he have had to "out" her, or would he decide some third party was messing with them?

If I had a mystery chum, I think the first thing I'd do is check that they were on my side. Please tell me Russ did this and was lied to.

I doubt he checked, unless he's ridiculously clever and somehow knew I'd get targeted the same night I bluffed and his head would be on the block without proof unless... Phew. Nope. No chance. He shoulda done though

Now I'm just interested to see whether he takes the last piece of information I fed to him (that I managed to PM him just before day 5 thread went up) as true or false, now he knows my role... Mwahahahahaaa

To be fair, I don't think you can say you got away with it until you successfully won the argument the next day... which you never got the chance to try and do. And they do seem to have figured out what has been going on now; with Russ still able to investigate and somebody presumably still protecting him, I like the town's chances to be honest... Russ will have another investigation result in from last night, he'll get another one in tonight, and the bad guys' heads will roll. Only thing that scuppers them is the interrogation of his protector; relatedly, we're overdue a good fake role-claim

Ah yes, but he runs the risk of the only two remaining goodies getting wiped out by the time he flushes both baddies out, especially if they get head of CTU first time out (it's a 50/50 chance!) then he's gone and they have no info. Plus he's got diddly squit to go on from last night's investigation as he'll not know whether mine was real or not...

I think this might be one of the longest runs for a "serial killer", which is surprising.

We've had a couple of SK wins (although mine was only a six-kill win so it didn't properly count), and I've got down to the final day as a 'normal' SK before. Then I think I got shafted.

Oops! I needed to find a better way to communicate that I was bad really - being Switzerland didn't work for long enough!

Surely the result of the investigation would be truthful, and it would just be up to TFF to decide whether to lie or not?

Just imagine Russ daying it. It loses its impact somewhat.
