Everyone wakes nervously. Will there be fresh bodies today?

In the ready room there is the sound of retching... it's because everyone has just seen a body, and it is missing a head. It has been cleaved clean off by a Klingon Batleth. The body is resting on a computer, as if it was in the process of hacking something when it was separated from its cranium.

The head is on the floor. It is the head of Nickachu

Nickachu was the Romulan Hacker.

But that's not all. There's a call from the observation deck, and everyone rushes there to find another dead body, killed in the back by the blast of a purloined phaser.

It's Trooper. He's well dead.

In his possession is a book entitled 'Seeing the Universe safely' and tickets for passage aboard the ship as a passenger.

Trooper was a Civilian

[playerlist]
Mr Russell
DavPaz
myp it
KovacsC
Bobbyaro
Slightly Green
Malc
Joans
TheVision
NervousPete
Craster
gospvg
[/playerlist]

With 12 players remaining, 7 votes are needed to make someone take a spacewalk sans suit. Or 9 nolynch votes should everyone be happy as they are.

Day ends at 4pm Tuesday or when a lynch is decided upon.

So, time to trawl back and see what Nickachu had to say for himself over the last few days.

Can't see too much to go on. Nickachu voted for Bobby early on the first two days, but that might not mean anything.
Did Trooper die because Malc killed him for getting to close to the truth, or did someone else kill him to make us think it was Malc?

Last time I trust some sort of seeming wide-eyed-innocent in a fish costume. Bravo Worf! Prune juice all round. Next time contact the cleaners after though, right?

Trooper's dead! And he's not a borg! SHIT. How many of them are there now? I don't like this.

Not sure Joans, but it's a point damn well worth considering. How devious are people in this game normally?

So, where do we go from here?
12 people left
At least 2 Romulans (possibly 5)
Up to 4 borg, but, some of the Romulans could be borg and the queen was a 0-1 role, so there might be none at all. Probably safest to assume the borg are in the game and there's 4 of them though.
Possibly only Worf left, but also possibly up to 5 (including Worf) crew members left. Worth noting that Worf has killed both nights since Picard died.
Possibly 1 Wesley - even though he's a 0-1 role, it seems silly to have a role specific to this game and not use it.
0-2 redshirts

Anyone get roleblocked last night?

It would be quite obvious for Malc to kill him but then again, Why not kill him or have him killed? He was very vocal about Malc being suspicious and I think we should continue his good work now he's gone.

Don't know 2 Civilians down & only 1 Romulan out, could have been better if the 2 Civilians were either the Borg Queen or a Goon.

It's the best night for the town we've had, yeah, it would be have been nice to got a borg, and yeah trooper's down too, and that's a shame, and I do genuinly mean that, I really did think he was a baddie. Flis is a loss too, but I was more thinking of the night time...

I would have said the romulan hacker was the 3rd most powerful baddie role in the game (behind Q and the Queen) (with the the rest of the romulans being joint 4th, yes even the leader)

To have taken him out, is a case for more than minor joy.

Now as for me killing (or ordering the kill, or whatever), If I had the power to do that I would have kept him alive and killed someone to draw the attention on to someone they had an argument with. Which is what I think someone's done here. Set me right up!

I would suggest that TheVision had something to do with it, (as he is the one making the accusation at me) but given that I've got everything wrong so far, I can't bring myself to vote for him. We can't afford another mistake...

okay, major suss of davpaz and the vision. voting for flis in a bandwagon for being a girl, crazy.
Going to go and refresh myself of the events of yesterday, but you people are all suss. Mind you, it is possible I am the only civilian left anyway, so I am going to go and hide in a Jefferies tube.

So what do we all think?
Who is the Romulan Leader?
Borg Queen?

Trooper mentions the vote count on Day Three and is gone in the night actions.

He suggested Malc so [vote:Malc]

I still think it's a bit obvious that Malc was responsible for the death of Trooper after he suspected him yesterday. However, there's still a good chance that Malc is some form of bad guy. Hmm.

Malc is suss but it would be a very obvious ploy, might just be cunning enough to hide behind. Haven't got time to go over everything this lunch time, had a crazy weekend, so will read over yesterdays log again and see if anyone in particular is standing out.

Flis did seem to get voted off very quick, the day ended before i could come back and vote, which i was quite surprised at, bandwagon?

lots to think on

being locked in your room does not preclude anything, all it tells us is you aren't Worf, so we are not going to lose our killing role by going for you.

I had nothing to do with the death of Trooper, and if I was a Romulan, then I wouldn't have killed Trooper, precisely because it would have lead to this state where people think that I ordered the hit.

Some of the people organising the run on me now must be in on it.

I was sus about TheVisiion before, but I thought he was in league with trooper, and trooper was obviously an innocent scientist.

DavPaz just seemed to switch targets, from me to flis, as if he didn't care who died as long as it wasn't one of his team.

So [vote:davpaz]

Sorry.. I was in a rush when typing that last message. Yes, I mean it's the double switch/cross for Malc and Trooper.

Bumping Trooper off would make Malc look like the obvious culprit, but it would look TOO obvious... so he did it anyway.. making it look even less (or more) obvious. I forget now... anyway..

I'm voting for Malc.

I'm going to stick with the courage of my convictions and stick with [vote:Mr Russell]. I could be swayed towards Malc later in the day, however, mainly because if he dies and is a civilian, I have two or three people who will definitely be on my naughty list.

Yup i think Craster is right. With the way people are voting and appearing to group i think i have a idea of one group, but i honestly can't decide if they are the Starfleet officers, Borg or Romulans, which means i am not sure what to do at all, Malc is not in the group i think i have identified so if he is voted off and turns out to be one of the nasty group then...bah i am not sure, my brain hurts.

I have the horrible feeling we are in massive trouble with the borg, assuming they are on 4 now and get another person tonight (which is likely especially if they have infiltrated the officers or romulans) then tomorrow they will be on 5 players, if we don't airlock one today or have the officers/romulans kill them tonight then they are a massive power. So with only a vague hunch that Mr Russell is a robotic psychopath i will [vote:Mr Russell]. It is only a hunch but he seems to have gone VERY quiet in the game, which may suggest he isn't the queen but was recruited and then became quiet?

Could be persuaded to switch my vote to Malc but i think he is more likely to be a romulan than a borg, and yes that is a feeling that i am really struggling to explain also, sorry for the lack of any hard logic.

People what I suspect:
Slightly Green
Myp it
Craster
KovacsC
Gospvg
DavPaz
TheVision
Malc
Joans
NervousPete
Mr Russell

In that order.
As I am normally completely wrong about these things:
[vote: Mr Russell]

Just been thinking, in the show and films, the borg have limited communication abilities, and will ignore anyone around them unless they have express orders to something.

Could it be all the ones that have started loud are now no longer to freely communicate with us, and are hampared by running everything through the queen or something odd like that?

Food for thought...

Malc

Reading through with somewhat tired eyes.

Further 'argh my head' merely at reading this. Shall try to figure something out... before we all get borgified. Gngh.

I take it that list is in reverse order? or you've voted for the wrong person?
I'm still suspicious of SG but sometimes the obvious choice is too easy to be correct but I 'm sticking with Malc for now.

That's me done for the day, I'll be back tomorrow at some point before the 4pm cut-off

I think the point bobby was trying to make was that, as Mr Russell is the person he's least suspect of, he's going to vote for him, as he is usually wrong when he thinks he knows who is a baddie. Much like me suspecting TheVision, but not going for him...
