It's a quiet, sullen group that gather on the next morning. It's also a group rather reduced in number. The Rev Owen was found in the middle of the night after folk investigated a gunshot. He was lying facedown on his kitchen floor, with a bullet through the back of his neck.

The Rev Owen was a Townie.

Folks in the centre of town were gathered round a grisly sight. A gibbet had been erected outside the town hall, and swinging merrily away was poor old Mr Dave.

Mr Dave was a Townie.

With 6 players alive, 4 votes are required for a lynch. Day 4 ends Monday midday.

Still no luck for the vigilante yet - and at least 1 mafia still remaining.

No Bobby or Mr Dave to try and get people to talk , so is everyone going to hide or will we have any type of discussion today ?

Well I'm still here, for a bit of a chunter. The odds are... well, today is make or break if there are two mafia left, if only one then we've got a good chance, though they're flying well under my radar.

To which end, I'm only suss of one person - he didn't vote for Bobby, and was defended by same on the first day.

If there is only one we could have a bad choice today and then it will depend on the overnight stuff.



If at that point on day 2 there are only 2 mafia then 'defending' like that seems a very bad move - if they were both bad and we latched onto one we could get the other - bobby has enough experience to realise that (unless its a double bluff :-)

Also it wasnt actually a defence more 'dont waste a vote'

No problem. It's just my silent but deadly theory. The few times he has posted he added nothing other than to say he was still alive. It's mafia like to just let us point fingers and not get involved themselves. Well, that's my theory anyway.

I agree - he's not looking terribly scummy, but then no one is. And you're right, Bobby didn't outright defend him, but then that would have been very dodgy. He more 'brought him up and then left him there', which is much more of a scum 'don't ignore but don't incriminate' style.

We know Bobbyaro was a mafia thug, and here is an interesting post from him:

Bobbyaro went for kovacs a few times, which plants him as townie in my mind. He also has very little to say in his summing up paragraph about Joans and Bluecup. Mr Dave and Rev Owen were townies.



The benefit of only having two pages per day is that it's easy to re-read them all. Bobbyaro and his goon mates have gone for a tactic of two out in the open talking a lot of bluster (and possibly one very silent). Note how nearly every post from bobbyaro or bluecup has made passing reference to how the mafia can win by keeping silent.

I am therefore going to [vote:Bluecup] with a strong FoS at Joans if it turns out Bluecup is not the last remaining thug.

Also why is there the need to keep bringing up previous games. As the games are not linked?

I hope you're right, Mr Russell - it's certainly compelling logic, it's just that as a mafia member you *ought* to implicate one of your own just to look less suspicious, I think. Though in this quiet peaceful game, perhaps that would be a little too dangerous. I am only feeling happy about those who voted for Bobbyaro, they're the only relatively-guaranteed to be good ones we have.

So the reason you are voting for me is beacuse I did not vote at all.... on any day.

The fountain is only a foot deep, so he lies there damp and glaring until zaphod79 plugs in a toaster and chucks it in with him.
