So, the day is over, and the evening news is all about a murder - Louis Tully has been murdered!
But which ghost is missing?
Kalmar! Kalmar was Louis Tully.
Note that the GhostBusters miss their day action tomorrow, and Dana Barrett now has the win condition Ghostbuster.

Night six ends at midday Thursday.

Mr Chris
Mr Dave
Mr Dom
Mr Russell

With 10 players alive, 6 votes are required for a lynch, and 8 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

Mr Chris is either guilty as sin, or the biggest bell-end in mafia/ghostscum history.
Probably both.

Either way, I think we should wait to hear from him before we off him.

So Myp really was Walter Peck, and his plan was to try and draw out the GBs who he thought would publically celebrate his roleclaim, and his main suspect, who he had hoped to catch (and successfully caught) in this trap was Kalmar, who wasn't a GB.

8)

It's really late, and I've pretty much been working since about 10am, so if there was a good reason for that, that's why I can't see it.

I think what myp did was very silly, and if Mr Chris isn't a GB then what he did was v silly too.

if it turns out that Mr Chris is a GB then I think we will find the 3rd GB will have made a point of disagreeing with Mr Chris as much as possible to distance themselves from him.

Whilst I agree that Mr Chris made an unbelievably mental move yesterday, I think we should hear what he has to say before we lynch him. Then probably lynch him anyway, the fool.

Okay I'm not going to be around much this morning - but echoing the above - Myp was really Peck , for Chris to counterclaim he's either bad or stoopid (come on - you *know* someone is peck , no one else counter claimed why would you ?)

The GB's hitting 1/2 the SK helps us a lot , we should get a free day today (no night actions) unless the gatekeeper / keymaster connected last night in which case Mr Stay Puff will kill someone.

Its quite possible we might end up with today ending , then we go straight into the next day very quickly.

Mr Chris tried to say he was a ghost in the dying moments of yesterday but it was after the votes were already in , as far as i'm concerned we kill him anyway since he's either bad for us , or so wrong its dangerous to let him still be around.

Numbers wise we have

2 x GB's
1 x Gatekeeper (who is now basically another Peck for us , we dont want to kill them because if the GB's do they lose a turn)
7 x Ghosts (hey its the same amount as yesterday)

Random odds :
Hitting a GB - 20%
Hitting the Gatekeeper - 10%
Hitting a ghost - 70%

Night Six - Not even off the start line

Hiya!

I thought myp was guilty as sin, and thought he had fake-roleclaimed. So I tried to unsettle him and his GB-colleagues by roleclaiming back. As it turns out, I was wrong.

I'd point out that so were most of you.

Feel free to lynch me, but I'm a ghosty.

Just doesn't fit with making a fake roleclaim to kill our final power role.
If you were a ghost, what possible grounds were there for making a fake roleclaim when it was guaranteed that someone actually held the role?

It wasn't a fake roleclaim in order to kill our final power role. It was a fake roleclaim to draw out a lying scummy scumbag. And I'm not the only one who thought Myp had been acting suss. Perhaps Myp needs to work on not exuding scum-pheremones.

Because I thought myp had fake roleclaimed to protect himself, and I wouldn't have thought the real Peck would stick his or her head over the parapet to dispute it. Peck could still have been a GB target regardless of losing the next night's actions (which is why it was such a mental, and suspicious, thing for Myp to have done). *I* certainly woudln't have claimed to be him were I actually.

Well, you either acted incredibly stupidly or are lying (Ghostbusting) scum.

You're a lawyer by profession, are you not? Could be either of those, I guess ;)

To be fair, I don't know if MrChris is wholly to blame if he turns you to be a ghost. Myp didn't seem to help us much in the grand scheme of things, did he? We lost the only power role that was left to us and haven't really learned that much, rather just confused things further.

Why would he fake roleclaim an essentially powerless role , the only thing Peck was good for was stopping the Busters for one night , which we've magically got tonight because they killed the Keymaster last night

We do also have another 'peck' out there now since if they accidently kill the Gatekeeper they are again stopped.

Why would you think it was a fake roleclaim ? , he claimed Peck , no-one else said he was peck until you came along - there was only 1 fake role claim yesterday and it was yours.

Mr Chris wrote:

Myp was not really under pressure at that point , he did it so that it wouldnt look like a roleclaim to avoid a kill , if he went uncontested for the ghosts we would have two people we could trust (him and Droman) , I dont agree with his reveal but i can see the thought behind it , the only thought i can see behind yours is your a GB and wanted us to kill peck without the GB's losing a night action over it ?

Mr Chris wrote:

Why not ? , Peck's only role in the game is to be a 'mine' for the GB's , he's pretty much useless for anything else ("Yes this man has no dick") , the only point of counterclaiming peck would be to show the first one was false , you've got to know at that point that we kill one and if they turn out to be Peck the other lied.

Mr Chris wrote:

But you claimed to be him when you were not ?

There are 2 options here :

1) You are a GB and are now doing this to try and save your own hide (I really hope this is the case)
2) You are a Ghost and claimed yesterday out of some strange thought process that made you think that us killing someone / two people (cause your gone today) on our own side was a good idea

I really cant see the point of number 2 , if the GB's had not hit upon the Keymaster last night they would have killed a ghost and killed another of us tonight , so we'd be *four* down just because you didnt trust Myp ?

I cant see that being good for us in any way - you've got to go

Yeah, because no-one ever makes mistakes in this game. And the villagers' favourite pasttime up until now *hasn't* been continually bandwagoning and lynching their own. Hmm.

So, fuck it, why deviate from that fine tradition?
