Hi everyone, I've asked Craster to post this in my absence if nobody was killed by the serial killer last night. Assuming Runcle stuck to the plan, this means Mr Russ is our man so [vote:Mr Russ]. If Plissken investigated me last night then he'll confirm I'm not the godfather. So as long as Russ is the SK, it's just a case of going through the motions until we find out which of Gaz, Lace or Malc is the Godfather.

Or the SK targeted the person I protected.

I had a good conversation with Colin the Nark last night. He knows what the words on the street in, and its not "Slow", "Give Way" or "A560 Bredbury". The words on the street are "tagliatelle", "ragu" and "stripping housewives". And they are painted just outside the house I investigated last night.

However, lynching Marlon Brando today allows the SK a shot at us. So I'll keep it quiet until we find the killer in our midst.

See how I have not posted for three bloody game days because you've been locking the threads before the afternoons when I've been available to actually post some of my excellent thoughts.

I got a PM last night telling me I spent the night with a hooker, which was nice, but it was the most fucking action I got this game, and probably will be again as you're about to lynch me for being the serial killer.

That's grand, but stems all from Plissken's investigation of me on night one when he said I wasn't mafia. of course, the opposite of not mafia is also townie. You bloody idiots. [vote:Spinglo sponglo!] who's played this game long enough to see that he could not kill someone in order to throw suspicion off himself last night. Runcle was shouting like a loon about how he was going to block me last night, so now I've been set up, and it's either Malc or lacesensor who are probably taking advantage of that fact.

I'm voting for malc though because his relatives in other towns are clever enough to play that way, especially with the comment about playing to your win condition.

Perhaps only those with night actions get those PMs? If that's the case, Russ is obviously the SK. This all assumes that the SK can choose not to kill one night though - he could have deliberately chosen not to kill to frame Mr Russ, knowing that Russ would be blocked.

This changes things. It's now quite possible that Malc or LaceSensor is framing Mr Russ. Having said that, I'm sticking with Russ because I can't honestly see why he thought lying about receiving a PM would help his case.

And, thinking about it, also means that I could be the serial killer too. That's a bit annoying.

True. Waiting for Plissken isn't going to tell us who the serial killer is, and he's the only threat left to us now.

We're in an enviable position for once, it's going to be hard for the serial killer to win with all of us on his trail, and it's impossible for the Mafia to win now. Even if we lynched a couple of innocents in our search for the SK, we can still win.

Presumably you're going to continue to protect Runcle? Our roleblocker really becomes important now.

We also know that Mr Russ isn't mafia, and GazChap can't be the serial killer (even though he said he could, if Runcle blocked him when there was a kill, then he can't be). Me, Lace and Malc can be either, although whoever Plissken investigated last night is also clear of being mafia.

Given time, Plissken can id the Godfather, there's only 4 suspects and he will have ruled one of us out last night.

I can't really say any more until I get my head round it in the morning.

Sorry, there were so many confusing words in Plissken's post that it reacted with the beer I've consumed today, but I see now that he says he found the Godfather.
I guess this means he didn't investigate me like he said he would, because unless Craster made another mistake, I'm not the godfather.

You're right though, he's no danger to us, and we need to get rid of the sk first, so we should wait for Plissken to tell us who the godfather is, so we can eliminate him from our SK investigation.
