The handful who remain gather together, and see that Sheepeh is missing. He's found around the back of the pub, with his throat cut, and then, incredibly, the blade rammed into his forehead. Sheepeh is very dead.

This is bad news for the town. On his person Sheepeh has a magnifiying glass and a shotgun.

Sheepeh was the Vigilante

[playerlist]
Plissken
JBR
Curiosity
KevR
Runcle
[/playerlist]

With 5 players remaining, just 3 votes will see a lynch. This day ends whenever a majority vote is reached.

Crikey, this was not the morning to sleep in.

We've had a couple of good days - including that fantastically quick one this morning, crikey - and can almost put this to bed, but the cult might still have a couple of members which will be enough to bandwagon and claim a victory if we're not careful here folks.

What were they?

Actually I'd better just check, then, hadn't I. Am I still in the frame to be cult?

Huge error from Sheepeh to not kill someone last night, I feel. It was worth the 50/50 risk (or better, had he been investigating before) of damning the town by killing one of our own.

So... 3 Townies and 2 Mafia.

Actually, scratch that.

2 Mafia, 2(?) Townies and 1(?) Cultist?

Either way, we need a Mafia deaded, and we need a Mafia deaded this lynch, or they win.

So, what do I think of the suspects?

Runcle - was on my original Mafia Hit List, which has been 2/3 right (and the other third was the Serial Killer... my 'up to no good' radar was working!). Partly on because of a seeming connection with LaceSensor though... the jury remains out.

Plissken - Is this the second time a death has happened near a pub? It seems like an attempt to cast doubt on him. It'd be a cunning disguise for a Mafia Goon... but surely they don't like drunkards in the Mafia? I'm leaning towards the pub mentionings being a Kalmar-esque red herring.

JBR - Has been suspicious and suspected for a lot of the game. Hmmm...

KevR - The quiet one. Has consistently voted for innocent townies to do.

Hmmm...

Who to lynch... who to lynch...

Don't let the pub locale throw you, that's entirely made up by me and not a hint at the murderer.

I agree - several kills usually works out better. It has been a bit quiet on that front recently, though perhaps you were right that the mafia came for you the night before and therefore failed.

I have a concern that there might be 2 cultists, too, but without a killing role they're less of a worry. Nagging away at me is whether MaliA knew he was targetting a cultist with his bomb-mimic, and if so whether that was because he'd mimicked the cult leader and recruited an extra one. The maths defeat me somewhat, but I have a concern about anyone who has openly stated they're a townie.

Check my posts on previous days, all are after 1900 due to working nights except yesterday due to shift change and the day being over so quick. I wouldn't say I had been particular quiet.

I gave reasons for why I voted for each of the Townies that ended up being lynched. Namely, Mr Russ acting so strangely, myoptika doing the same but to a lesser extent but it was the first day and we had less to go on and MaliA as it was looking to be between him and Goddess Jasmine and I felt a lynch was important for information.

I've voted JBR for the same reason I voted Craster earlier.

Also, if you look yesterday.

I was suspected as being Mafia by Rodafowa (the Cult Leader).

I was also the first person to vote for Craster today (the Mafia Doctor and cheat who posted after the thread was locked!).

Having pondered this over a pint of Van Nistelrooys Sinuses, I still don't like JBR. Or KevR.

It is the R. Definitely the R.

Can't edit my posting, but I'm more convinced that JBR is Mafia, so its a lynching vote for me.

Oh fuck it.

I think we're boned. I suspect everyone more or less equally (I'd vote for Runcle first, actually, but he's not got any votes yet), but I have a very busy wekeend (the wedding I keep on blathering on about), so a conclusion must be reached.

[vote:JBR]

If this condemns us to Mafia death, so be it, us Townies had a good run!

With fewer people it's getting harder to batter people to death, but those who are present still manage to do it, and JBR goes down under a hail of punches and kicks.

His coat falls open revealing a well tailored suit, and a shooter.

JBR was a Mafia Goon

PM people, PM me. Night ends at 11pm tonight so hurry the fuck up. :)
