Oh. Interesting.

Any military pilots out there wish to dispute Curio/Lace's claim?

If the Cylons are sufficiently devious, and Bobby is innocent, then it would make sense for one of the Cylons to bring up a subtle mention of "Oh, I bet SDG was on to something; that's why she was killed."

It's a sneaky way of trying to get someone else to start the lynch on Bobby, so it wouldn't be remembered that you pointed us in that direction.

Morning all. Not a good start then. :(

Obviously I'm a newbie, but it does seem like the cylons would all vote the same way whilst they can (until suspicious become dangerous, I mean...?

Other than that I have nothing to add yet, other than my continued presence and distinct smell of locker funk.

Yes, I voted for Kovacs. However, you fail to mention a post that came significantly before my post - this one:

Bobbyaro wrote:
Kovacs, the Scientists have no killing role other than vote. Precisely how are we supposed to win if we don't vote? This is such a fundamental concept, and one we have covered many times before, that I feel you must know this by now. The only people who would want a no-vote are cylons; as this allows them to kill us scientists as and when they like WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS*. As we have covered this so completely previously, I feel you are attempting to subvert proceedings and as such [vote:kovacsc]

Care to explain why you think me voting for the person that you started the vote on is suspicious?

While people are sleeping you will take your combat knife and kill one person.

Would suggest that the Psycho offed Owen and the Cylons took out SDG , possibly because she was the most useful person yesterday ?

Closer investigation of The Rev Owen's body reveals that the holes are indeed knife marks, and not bullet-holes at all.

Mine was considered and explained. It meant exactly what it said. We had to kill someone, exactly as you said, so I picked the current highest vote, the one you went for.

What am I doing that makes me seem suspicious ?

If it helps, I'm deeply suspicious about almost everyone at the moment.

Mr Russ trusts me... is he trying to get on-side with a military pilot to seem less scummy?

Bobbyaro was on Gilly's radar and she got killed.

Mr Dave has been making sense... this is unusual!

Doctor Glyndwr... he just seems shifty.

Curio, you're lying. You're obviously lying, you're always lying, you're a dirty, dirty liar. I can't vote for you, because then people will point at me and go "he's voting for a pilot". You dirty lying liar.

No, the pilot roleclaim is an interesting one. It's a 'power role', but it doesn't make you a target, because the cylons can't afford to off all the pilots in case theirs gets done in.

For the love of god. Right, for the retards in the ship, before you get anyone to boot off one of our pilots:

I am a curious scientist. Curiously attractive, curiously awesome and curiously curious. Sadly too awesome for most of you to notice the HEAVY FUCKING HINTS on page one of this thread.

I have investimagated Curio, and I can confirm that he is a military pilot. I rifled through his pockets while he was sleeping and turned up a "Dummies Guide to Raptor Piloting", an A cup bra and a picture of a semi naked Karl Agathon. I guess he's in competition with the other Raptor pilots and is aspiring to be his squadron leader.

Dick. Considering we didn't know:

1) Who you were
2) Who you were investigating

Your heavy hints become random off-the-cuff comments.

Anyway, cheers for that. It's been nice knowing you. Ashes to ashes, soil to soil, and all that.

No, they were massive hints that (a) I was a curious scientist and (b) that I had investigated curio. It's not my fault you're a mongtard.

So if curio is a confirmed pilot then who else has made a pilot claim that could be easily refuted?

And I'm going to need a recap of why we're all voting for craster before re-reading it all myself.

Mr Chris.

I didn't mention your confirmation of me due to hoping that the Cylons might have somehow missed it. Given I'm on 0 votes, I think you should, perhaps, have kept yourself hidden until you had more useful information.

Lacesensor and Squirt have claimed as pilots (Squirt as a civvie), but we have 2 to 4 pilots total, so unless two more people role claim there's not really much to be done in the way of counterclaiming. Not sure off the top of my head if there's definitely another curious scientist who may be able to share their info.

(a) He's a mongtard
(b) Mr Dave isn't cuddling him.

True, but if I get done it FOS Zaphoid, who was very keen for the CS to reveal him/theirselves, and Craster, who's a mong.

Plus, it's fun to roleclaim! Everyone's doing it!

OR AM I?

*shrug* You started yesterday's bad lynch, and you're voting for me which (subjectively, of course) is another bad lynch.

Am I missing posts here? I don't remember reading a claim from Lace or Squirt? Was it subtle hinting, or an outright roleclaim?

<sigh> WTF ?

I think we should seriously give up now , the machines have won.

To answer some of the posts at me :

1) Mr Wrong of Wrongville - I said that it would be useful if a Curious Scientist had discovered something then that would be good for them to share it - I *specifically* called out that clearing Curio would *not* be that useful

**note ** - if they just confirmed Curio then I dont really care - however if they lucked onto a Cylon then letting people know would be good.

You coming forward with your information doesnt help that much (okay we have confirmation of Curiosity but i think he will be taken out because we cant have a secure role out there for that long) and since your now 'known' we lose another power role.

2)

Just the first thing I accused you of. And your subsequent attempt to weasel out of it.

Like a weasel. But a Cylon weasel.

I make a comment about SDG being the most useful person , you turn that into "Bobby is a Cylon or I am - because I'm saying that SDG can detect Cylons in her sleep" , I question that and re-quote my one line and that makes you suspicious ?

Is there any answer that would have reduced your suspicion ?

There are *Sixteen* players , 4 baddies , but lots of people are not actually getting involved in the discussions , which makes it easy for them to slip under the radar , plenty of silent people out there with glowing red swishy things for eyes (sorry i've only seen the original BSG)

I've clearly not been paying much attention, seen Squirt's blindingly obvious roleclaim as well now.

Interesting.

So we have one (apparently confirmed) Military Pilot, one claimed Pilot Scientist, and one unknown Pilot (LaceSensor), correct?

You could have voted for Craster, but obviously you wanted to protect your evil Cylon leader!

And if i voted for him now then thats just as bad ?

BTW can someone explain to me why everyone is going for Craster ?

Your reasoning is

Ha! Would that be anything to do with the fact that I pointed out the weakness of your roleclaim yesterday?

Mostly just because you're a dirty Cylon

Its not really all that convincing ?

Lace's reasoning is just as solid

LaceSensor wrote:
The way I see it is thus

Vote for craster. If he is a good guy, then vote malc next.
And fos all who don't vote craster

Bobby at least has a reason behind his

Although i'd be more suspect of Lace for putting in the killing blow quite a bit after Kovacs had all but said he was a protector.

Mr Chris isnt explaining why Craster

And Malc's voting because Mr Chris is

I agree with voting Craster (as it appears Mr Chris knows something)

[vote: craster] but why me? What have I done?

Malc

Although if what Mr Chris knows is that Curio is really a pilot how does that implicate Craster ?

I'm not defending Craster - but I really cant see what it is that makes him stand out so much to everyone else - can someone enlighten me ?

Cylon Scum 2: Bleak dawn
VOTE UPDATE

bobbyaro: 1 (Craster)
craster: 5 (Curiosity, LaceSensor, Mr Kissyfur, Malc, Bobbyaro)

Not voted: 10 (doctor glyndwr, gazchap, joans, kalmar, mr dave, mr dom, mr russell, squirt, zaphod79, zeppo)

With 16 players alive, 9 votes are required for a lynch, and 12 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.
