That's because YOU AND REV OWEN forced him into it back on page 3, claiming he was in league with Kovacs.

I never said that, and I don't recall endorsing it when Owen said it.

I've never been interested in Kovacs today, that was just Craster muddying the waters. When I accused him, he said "what, because *something about Kovacs*", when I hadn't even mentioned him. It's just a straw man he threw up so he had something he could respond to, but it never reflected anything I had actually said. It's completely inkeeping with his approach to the game, planting words in the vicinity of innocent ghosts and hoping the get attached to that ghost and used against them. Looks like he's winning beating you all at this game though, which is not surprising because you really seem very bad at it as a group.

We've already discussed how a nolynch today wouldn't actually be that bad a thing, so voting just to get a lynch is stupid. I think everyone would agree with THAT at least.

I think Albino Kid should have a chance to save himself with one of his comic thingys.

If its funny he lives, if not we'll kill him twice.

I don't know if lynching someone is the best thing to do or not, as I think the chances of hitting one of our own, or (worse) Slimer or the GB he may be sliming are greatly more than hitting someone we actually want to hit. That said, there's only an hour an a half left of today, so if people want to go for a lynch and that's the majority vote I will put my vote in to help things along... although I really don't know or have any hint as to whooooooooo we should all be voting for.

As far as I'm concerned, lynching someone is always the right thing to do, in every situation, all the time.

I'm bloodthirsty like that.

I'm actually switching.

[vote:The Rev Owen]

I never really suspected him as much as some did, but he's jumped on my anti-Craster bandwagon, then leapt off and onto the anti-Albin0 one for no apparent reason. I'm tempted to think that Craster is much more likely to be a serial killer than a GB, and Owen is one of the GBs who is just desperate to lynch any non-GB. If he's a ghost then "I think Albin0 is a ghost but may as well lynch him anyway" makes no sense.

And you'd all think the same if it weren't me saying it, you know it.

I just want a lynch. I've said who I suspect, but I'm happy to lynch anyone but me, because I'm the only person I know for sure is a ghost.

I agree with your calling out 874389, but I think you're twisting the facts to suit your theory here. He's consistently pointed the finger at myself as well as Craster today. Based on little or nothing as far as I can see. But he's hardly defending me if that's what you're claiming.

*disgruntled floorboard creak*

Twisting facts? Maybe, but not intentionally. I've only really noticed him banging the Craster drum - he certainly did that louder, and the first mention I see of you is page 5, after an awful lot of noise about Craster. But yeah, point taken with regards to him not defending you.

However, knowing his role will potentially tell us a fair bit either way, and probably won't significantly harm our chances of success. I also like our odds given his behaviour today, so [vote: TheAlbin0Kid]

I hope I got his name right.

I don't think that 0898 505050 is a GB actually, he is just saying things and muddying waters. He is also providing a lot of info in the process. The GB will want a lynch today, the ghosts will be uncertain. Any one pushing for a vote is suss.

[vote:nolynch] (Is that correct)

Of course, there's a faint chance he's being so adamant about Craster because he actually knows he's a bad guy.

I admit this is unlikely however.

That is correct. Us sitting and waiting however, while it's good for Vigo, means that we're not lynching the SKs, and the GBs aren't killing the SKs. It's therefore a certainty that we'll end up with an SK in play before long.

We can't win by sitting on our ectoplasmic hands. Apart from getting all sticky, we'll just be waiting to be picked off when the SK starts killing. Not lynching is a wrong-headed abomination and anyone who thinks it's a good idea is wrong-headed at best and a baddie suss at worst.

Of course, if we're correct and the GBs were blocked, then they'll be furiously pushing for a lynch to try and get Slimer so they can bust us again. Which means anyone saying "We have to lynch someone! Anyone!" is also suss. Which would include me, but I'm not a GB, I just want a lynch, for the excitement factor and know that we need a lynch to win.

Thanks for clearing that up, Rev :D

Also, surely by definition, a reverend pretty much can't be a ghost....?

Which only works if he's vigo/slimer/a bad guy taking a large risk to get unblocked. The first two he would've tried to claim by now, given the current lack of killing roles, and his immediate danger. The latter seems unlikely.

If we go for a nolynch, we're relying on Vigo, and that the SKs don't meet. They get 2 shots every evening, and if activated, make it much harder for us to win.

Basically, we need information, just in case, and I'd say f71ds role will tell us a fair bit. That's my take on it.

I appreciate that we need to lynch people, but I feel in this instance that we would be lynching someone useful (not necessarily Vigo/Slimer, but someone who is providing gaming info with his deeds*). And actually, Kalmar's comment shouldn't be disregarded.

*note also, that Mr Dave must also know this, so Mr Dave voting for 1337 boy here is actually surprising. Or suspect if you will.

A deliberate nolynch is fine, a nolynch through apathy is rubbish.

If Mr Dave is a standard, flat-pack IKEA ghostie then I'll be very surprised. I feel he's more likely to be some kind of ornate wardrobe being stroked by a fat, camp man on Antiques Roadshow.

I'm very interested that as soon as I say someone's suss they all immediately come back with, "No! Sir! It is you who are suss!"

If I still had a beard, I would stroke it.

Finger pointing in revenge is the tactic of the bad and the ugly.

And I'm the good.

Mr Dave was the one suspect I was deliberately not bringing to the forefront, but since I'm not long for this after life then I may as well say that he is a near-cert to be a GB. Craster is a near-cert to be a SK, and Owen is probably just a nitwit.

And I am really trying hard to resist the temptation of a fake role-claim to save myself, so far so good!

After I'm gone, can you at least all do one thing? Look back at who started the anti-albin0 campaign (whoever it was), and leave them alone. I've made myself an easy target, I appreciate that, and with that in mind the GBs know I'm perfectly capable of getting myself strung up without them interfering. So look back to the start of the groundswell to lynch me and the people at the heart of it are probably not GBs, they are just ghosts who are confused by me.

Kovacs, until then I had put your first day antics down to enthusiasm. Now I am not so sure.

He's either wised up or been reined in today. But it's hard to say which.

VOTE UPDATE

kalmar: 1 (Mr Chris)
craster: 2 (TheAlbin0Kid, myp)
nolynch: 3 (kalmar, Mr Russell, Bobbyaro)
thealbin0kid: 8 (The Rev Owen, Craster, GazChap, Mr Dom, Runcle, KovacsC, Mr Dave, Malc)

Not voted: 4 (cpt_droman, joans, mimi, zaphod79)

With 18 players alive, 10 votes are required for a lynch, and 14 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

Anyone showing up at the last minute and hasn't read the thread though fully, please don't be tempted to just jump on the bandwagon. There's strong logic for doing a nolynch today, although the leet kid isn't helping by attracting votes like a highly magnetic thing attracting ferrous voting objects.

hello. i am last minute been held up in a phonecall. bandwagon jumping - I said I would do :S

This is difficult. If Al8iIV0I<ID turns out to be a GB now you'll be in for it Kalmar... I don't know. I don't think it is him, despite him trying to accuse me, but then I don't have anyone that I suspect any more than him, either. EIght minutes left, Poopsicles.

One more quick read...
