I had to reread that to see why my name was included, I would never have made that connection myself! I was just nodding along and thinking, mmm donuts. Not a meringue.

He thinks alarms punishment is to be killed and he suggested stopping guessing earlier so there would be no last person.

Sounds like he's throwing attention away from himself though [vote:Grim...]

I tend to agree with Craster, Mr Russell's suggestion is working on the idea that Grim... has read the game rules.

Mr Russ you are voting in a very erratic fashion today, i know we don't have any good information to work with, but you seem quite irrational with your finger pointing.

VOTE UPDATE

mr russell: 4 (nickachu, Grim..., Curiosity, Goddess Jasmine)

Not voted: 11 (davpaz, malc, mr russell, alarm, gilly, kovacsc, slightly green, craster, bobbyaro, grim…, joans)

With 14 players alive, 8 votes are required for a lynch, and 8 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

I agree that Mr Russell is acting very odd, but that makes me think he is more of a mentally deficient character rather than a bad un. I could be grabbing the wrong end of the stick and running with it again though.....

What secret info is this man referring too? Its almost like he is deliberately putting himself in the noose, a cunning suicide move or a genius double bluff from some scumm....or even a innocent mistake from a townie?

Also i don't want to see this game go dead, so am more inclined to vote for a quiet person, even if they arn't scumm we are better off as we can only get information from people partisipating at the moment, as we don't have voting patterns to go on.

So i will [vote:alarm] and hope he gets himself a coffee and joins us all on the dodgems for the rest of the day.

He clearly has no info, he's just trying to stay alive another day as he realises his mistake of drawing attention to himself. Down with Russell!

There is a crazy bastard in here with us, who wants to be strung up, you did know that didn't you...

I think we may be handing the crazy person a win here. But i will add my vote to him at lunch time (13.00 ish) if it is still the majority vote, as some action is better than none to get us information

I propose we don't lynch Russ.

Let's lynch someone else, like Joans or Alarm or Gilly.

The lunatic is, imo, a perfectly good person to vote for, as all they do is make life confusing.

But if we have identified him then we can leave him alone and concentrate on killing an actual bad guy. A smaller game leaves less margin for error.

Of course, it's a big IF, and it's not too bad either way as at least we don't kill a townie power role, but I'd still rather have a pop at getting an actual bad guy.

This conversation was guaran-damn-teed to happen at some point in the game. So someone coming in and doing that is setting up that conversation, knowing this, a true headcase is unlikely to do this, so this makes it look like he is faking being a nutcase, so why would he do that?

Possibly, or it is just a person playing to get the win condition they have been given in the game.

We don't have long and we need 8 votes for a lynch

I don't think Mr Russ is scumm from the way he has been playing, i think he is a lunatic, but i will change my vote to him if we can't get a agreement on anyone else, as it is better to remove someone so we can get information than to waste a day and let the bad un's have a free night killing us.

Have we even got enough people around to get the vote up before the 2pm cutoff?

No one else has been acting particularly suspiciously, if Russ was doing a double bluff then surely we would have someone else acting a bit weird as well?

Quiet people are probably the best target if we are going to target at random, so I'd say either Alarm or Joans. Alarm has been most quiet, so {vote:Alarm}
