Mr Kissyfur's claim to be a Curious Scientist certainly holds water, but then we need to remember that Cylon Number One is also an investigative role, and Kissyfur could quite easily be Number One with a cunning bluff.

If Kissyfur investigated Curio and confirmed he's a military pilot, then where's the bandwagon on Craster started from? Curio was first to vote, for effectively a "non-reason", he can't have any information about Craster.

(a) his face

I'd say that it'd be a rather daft Cylon who did (b) in the first place, though. (a) is a valid reason.

If indeed I do know anything. I could be trying to help protect my Cylon leader Curiosity. OR I could be trying to make sure that Curio gets killed. Or I could be mentals.

There were two kills last night, so the Cylons couldn't have done an investigation, unless I'm reading the rules wrong.

Indeed, just read that in the rules.

That kinda makes Kissyfur's most recent reply there quite odd. If there was no way whatsoever that Kissyfur could be a Cylon researcher, I would have expected a total denial of that rather than that.

I've never stated my role but I've made the biggest hints ever since the off which are painfully obvious for anyone who has seen top gun.

If anyone else claims as military pilot now I'm voting for them, seen as curio is my wingman now.

I'm pretty much gonna stick with curio.

For those reasons sticking with craster

Oh and mr chris I didn't read your hints well I thought you'd investigated craster.
Then again I have been busy all day giving the rev a decent miliary send off

For the record I am a naval aviator. Kill me if you wish but it makes sense to noone really.
Gotta go now, got some diagnostics to run on the ole bird, should be done by 1700 ish

So mr Chris investigated curio and confirmed him as a pilot. He is therefore 'good' in my mind as we can trust he isn't double crossing or bluffing in his vote, and has as much chance as picking an innocent as the rest of us with the added bonus that it's definitely a guess rather than trying specifically to wipe out scientists. Therefore [vote:craster] until further notice.

Chris and Curio may both be good, but that doesn't in any way mean that they know a single thing about me. In fact, there's no way they can know anything about me, if they're telling the truth.

This is true.

At the moment I believe all of the roles claimed.

I also like voting for Craster, as myoptika died in the explosion (some good news, at last!).

But I have a feeling he might be a baddie. Nothing more. Quite possibly the psycho. Someone with a good feeling for tradition is the psycho, for sure.

Now this part *does* make sense to me , Killing Owen on day 1 is a tradition , and the way that SDG was pushing him yesterday would (I thought) make him high on the suspect list for today - cept he's dead.

But that also points at a bunch of other 'regulars'

No, but if anyone other than Chris and Curio points fingers in this game -- anyone, including me -- they could be a Cylon planting seeds. Whereas for these two, assuming you believe their role claims, that's not an issue. They have fractionally higher odds of success, then.

An early roleclaim for a role that cannot be disproved is suspicious for me. There was no way Curio needed to roleclaim yesterday. That's what caused my vote.

Also note that I would not even slightly put it past Curio and Kissy to have cooked this up between them. Both the pilot and curious scientist roles are undisprovable.

Beetroot runs off barking, disappearing behind an old building. Craster sighs and walks after her, but before he's gets to the building there is a noise of automatic gunfire. Everyone bundles into Sweet Chariot and hides, but Craster is too far away and scrambles through a broken window into the building the noises came from. Zeppo shuts the main door manually as quietly as he can.
You wait, hardly daring to breathe, let alone talk.

Peering carefully through a porthole, you can see a Cylon Centurion looking at Sweet Chariot for a fair while. Finally, it walks away.
You wait a bit, then climb carefully out of
Sweet Chariot and have a quick look around. Craster is okay - the Centurion didn't look at the small building at all, it's attention focussed on the spacecraft.
Beetroot isn't so good, however.

Tbh, Im not convinced on Crasters guilt, despite being Curio's 1st choice, but one I am more convinced of is...

[vote: Bobbyaro]

Especially yesterday, I just get the overriding feeling that he isn't paying much attention to the ins & outs of things, except to chuck random accusations around. that's the behaviour I would expect of a scummy cylon (or possibly psycho), who doesn't care about who goes where as long as it doesn't point at him.
Given that SDG was blatted last night by Cylons after pointing out Bobby too, I would put my money on him being one of them.

If Craster is saying he roleclaimed on day 1, that must mean he's roleclaiming as a pilot.

So we have one too many pilots.

Could the Cylon Centurion ignoring Craster be indicative that he's a Cylon himself?

I've heard tell of other times when people in the lead on votes turn their backs for less than an hour and are thereafter shunned. Given that I was unsure of my ability to communicate from my 'recon patrol' to foreign lands, I thought it best to reserve the pilot's seat, lest I return to find that people had foolishly thrown me out.

I fully admit that 'I'm a vanilla scientist' roleclaims are rubbish, but it's there nonetheless. Also, my 'specialism' claim was up there before it became obvious to all reading that scientists actually had a specialism.

Potentially meaningless, since the Cylons may well have 'cover stories'.

BUT... I'm not in a rush to oust someone without thinking it over.

I call utter bollocks on that. NOTHING said by Craster on day one is a roleclaim. He's getting a run of votes, so tries to make out that he's roleclaimed, and the only conceivable roleclaim you could (just about) shoehorn into an interpretation of his Page 1 Day 1 postings is as a pilot. But someone points out that gives us too many and he then changes his mind and roleclaims as a scientist. Utter cobblers.

So, caught in one outright lie, he tries another.

Very, very much [vote:Craster]

Yes, but what I mean is that if I was pretending to be a scientist, I wouldn't have known at that point that all scientists had a specialism. It's far from concrete proof, but it's all I've got.

Although, something about this all seems VERY sweet.
