There's only a 25% chance you're telling the truth right there.

By saying you don't want to be recruited by the cult, it strikes me as you want them to attempt.

So this leads to one of the following conclusions.

1) You're the cult leader and you want everyone to believe otherwise.
2) You're in the mafia, and want to thawrt the cult asap
3) You're in a townie roll that can't be recruited and want to thwart the cult asap
4) You actively want to be part of the cult
5) You're playing a double (or tripple) bluff
6) You're naive
7) Some other reason!

So um, yeah, look, look over there it's a brown dog, yes a brown one!

That was Russ's suggestion. I'm not sure I'd buy it, it would make him either the Governator (if he really was that he should definitely be keeping his head down), or the mime.
With the copying of craster's voting, it#'d be tempting to think he is the mime too, but then why give his role away like that.

If you're going to lynch me, can I at least ask you to put 'Here lies myoptika, Vanilla Townie' as my epitaph?

Everyone should know what I'm like on this forum. I post a lot in every section, hence I was always going to be the most vocal in here. If being vocal means you're going to end up getting lynched, I'll never win this game.

Kalmar, on the other hand, has now only become vocal now. It just strikes me as a little weird.

I think it's what you say, rather than how much you say. I'm sure "big mouth" Comical and his two victories would agree.

I don't agree. Just being vocal isn't the same thing as being vocal and suspicious, and both of you are that.

Kalmar, I think, is member of a group. I am not sure which group, though. I'm swaying towards thinking that they might be cult, but far too early in the game to know with any degree of certainty. I know from the first game that sometime Kalmar doth protest too much, which last time wrongly condemned him, so it might just be that, also.

I think it is too early to get any great hints, but the Monkey meter picks up vibes that Kalmar is not just a townie - whether his role is positive or negative, though, I am not sure. For the moment I think perhaps a cult member, but he could also be a positive character such as police or doctor, so not sure yet.

I shall check back a little later as I must not let work grin to a complete halt.

Also, well done CG for organising this

In a town not far from here, I'm sure one of your relatives said the exact same thing before they were unmasked as a serial killer...

Killer Koleman? Yes, it was a shame what happened to him. I think he walked in on his mum having sex with Peter Griffin in a sailor suit, and went stark, raving bonkers.

We're only related by marriage though. I am not like him.

My last post was aimed at Myop / Curiosity, natch.

I don't know. I think Kalmar is pretty highly suspicious, but I thought that about Bluecup last time and that didn't work out so well.

Of course, if we lynch anyone and they turn out to be a townie, then it's the Governor's fault for not stopping it.
Actually, if we manage to lynch the Governor, can they still overturn it, and would it be without revealing anything (so we'd know that the Governor had stopped it, but not that we'd just tried to lynch him anyway)?

If you lynch the Governor, they'll just pardon themselves. You won't know the difference between them pardoning themselves and them pardoning someone else. That makes the Guv. nice and unlynchable.

So, for clarity, once someone has the required number of votes, the thread is locked pending the Guv's decision which must be within 6 hours of the lock. If the time expires or if the Guv says hang, the person dies.

Definitely up to something.
I dont think ANYONE who is a vanilla townie should out themselves as such, as if it is indeed true, you are giving yourself up to the mafia or cult.

Theres something about myoptika in this game that is bugging me like the way comical was in previous games. The fact that he has outed himself as being a townie would surely alert the cult leader into a safe recruit at night, thats if he is a townie mind. Im still not sure though.
