Thanks I also did say one day 1 that Kovac is an elf

True I did not for sure but just a hunch like all the guesses most players (less investigate roles) are making.

Why the Joans vote still? If we are getting rid of the quiet ones, then Sharp Suit has been the quietest so far...

I'd agree that it has got to be a talkie that gets taken out, at least for today, to stand much of a chance from hereon in.

There's a very large spread bet across a number of folk which is worrying, as it doesn't look as though there's much consensus amongst us thanks, in part, to no talking, or talking about the no-talkies.

Let's look at who has been voting for whom over the last two days when two elves have been put on the naughty list.

Day Two: - SILENT NIGHT: Goddess Jasmine, zaphod79, Bobbyaro, Santanalian, Grim..., Cras Kringle, Mr Russell Sprouts, DavPaz

Day One: - KOVACS: Grim..., Cras Kringle, SilentNight, Mr Russell Sprouts, nickachu, Trooper, Bobbyaro, DavPaz, Zaphod69, Gosvp

Who voted for both:

DavPaz
Mr Russell Sprouts
zaphod79
Grim...
Bobbyaro

So what have we learned from that? Well, loads of you are Mafia then. Every single one of you. What? Oh, there's not that many. Well ok, perhaps someone can come in and make sense of it all.

It absolutely must be one of these next though. Because, well, I ain't got any better ideas.

Post subject:  Re: Xmas Scum Day Three

I'm worried about two people though, and here's why:

MR RUSSELL SPROUTS.

Immediately after SDG is strangled with tinsel (Day 2) here's what he said:

Quote:
Well Nikachu was an elf and is now dead, so your list should only be four people long (and three obviously without me).

I do feel Christmassy this morning, all lovely and in the spirit of joyfulness.

No mention of poor SDG but at least he feels Christmassy. Probably because he's just murdered her and got his "jolly's". No, jollies. One of those.

Secondly:

ZAPHOD79

I love Zaphod. He's ace. He's also the consistently logical as far as I'm concerned. So what insights has he got for us:

Quote:
What we know from yesterday (please feel free to add)

10 people voted to remove an Elf from the game
The Mafia targetted and removed an Elf from the game
The mad Elf targetted and removed an Elf from the game
The Marketing person did not target a baddie (anyone want to come forward and claim that they clockwork oranged into watching uplifting videos last night?)

Some notes were passed around (again anyone want to come forward as a recipient of a note and tell us what they said?)

Some special stuff may have happened (the two mystery roles)

I do think its fair to say that there will have been at least one baddie in the group that voted for Kov , however that really doesnt help us much - I also agree that targeting a silent one would be good as if they are good they are not contributing and are just giving the baddies a chance to slide along undetected so

[vote:joans]

So, to recap, Zaphod, some people did something and stuff happened. HOW INSIGHTFUL. Or not. Y'see, this is the worse that I've seen you. You're normally so calm and collected and save your vote. So, the hyper-analysis is suddenly absent and, in addition, at the moment we've seen you:

FLIM-FLAM your vote on Day 1.

JUMP AT THE CHANCE of voting for Silent Night when I done fucked up. In fact, you were a little too keen for people to get their votes in that night, no doubt RALLYING YOUR MAFIA BREADRIN (Bread bin? Brethrin? Of, whatever) to come and vote now that everyone had jumped on my idiotic mistake. I still think Silent Night was stupid not to come back and fight his case, but whatevs.

So what am I saying? Well, Zaphod has probably gone to the dark side.

Russ is probably the serial killer.

But I accept that I'm basing that on only hunches rather than science. But, y'know, at least I'm trying to provide an explanation.

Getting people to vote at night is much harder than getting them to vote during the day - yes I was trying to get people involved.

You should.

Let's think back to when ("my cousins" - continuity Ed) were in the same situation as me, and they had got wind of a handy clue - you couldn't shut them the fuck up about it!
