Post subject:  UNScum : Day 4

The next morning, KovacsC doesn't appear at breakfast, his rooms are searched to no avail and he can't be found anywhere. Perhaps it all got to much for him, maybe he just decided to up and leave? But what's this? A note has been left in a copy of The Times at the end of Kovacs' bed, it did seem strange as it wasn't his native paper; and a little high brow if truth be told....The note read as follows:

"KovacsC had to be disposed of, we're awfully sorry about this, we thought we should get rid of him completely as that poor cleaning lady has been through quite enough already this week. And the drains were backing up for days after the whole 'Curiosity incident'. Once again, we really are dreadfully sorry chaps but, greater good and all that, what what? We will try to keep innocent casualties to a minimum, however, this is war (unsanctioned, perhaps but the less said about that the better, eh, chaps!) and you're all so bloody secretive! TTFN"

KovacsC was the Dutch Prime Minister

Mrs Miggins breathes a sigh of relief she didn't have anything to find this morning, her hip is playing up today and she really isn't in the mood for any more stress. Only one more room to clean before she can go home and put her feet up.

Mrs Miggins finds Sinister Agent, his feet cut off and stuffed in his mouth, he suffocated on the fumes. Scrawled on the bottom of his foot is a crescent and a star.
Sinister Agent was a Swiss Councillor

Mrs Miggins really has had enough of this crap!

With 12 players alive, 7 votes are required for a lynch, and 9 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

Day 4 Ends at 10pm Tuesday

Remember, you are voting people off the council, not for lynching, but the principal stays the same!

Can a mod do the death thread access thing please

So kovacs was done in by the brits and sinister the Libyans? That's what we can assume... that must mean that the afghans were either roleblocked again or they are out the game?

Good point, Friend Nickachu.

There's a good chance that they're eliminated. If they have a night action, why not use it?

I thought perhaps it as the Afgas, the moon and star is an Islamic symbol and fits better with them than the Libyans. Although it could be a red herring...?

Maybe An Libyan was roleblocked? So, potentially, depending on why there has only been 2 kills for the last 2 nights, there are people out there who know the identities of our Libyan and Afgan delegates.

The libyan flag has a moon and a star on it... could be that?

But could also be them trying shift the blame maybe.

Oh, does it? I thought it was plain? *Googles*

Those shifty Infidels....the old flag had the moon and stars on, but Gadaffi got rid of it...the protesters to his regime have been waving the old one around.

Hmm. Maybe they're just thick....? Stupid Libyans.

Er....

I don't understand. You and Gilly have voted for the same people and on day 1 you voted for Kov, proven good guy.

Hmm. We have gone with your say so previously but that could just be convenient meta data. Gah.

All that said, I have nothing else to go on so I'm not against going with your vote, I'd just like to know a little more first. I think we should wait to hear from Gilly before we jump on that accusation, especialy as Grim... hasn't really said very much up 'til now.

Are you trying to pick up on my poor phrasing there, Mr. Paz? :P

I just don't know whether to believe Grim... but then, thinking about it, we lose nothing by believing him, do we?

The bad guys have to take each other out of the game to win, if she's a good guy they don't gain anything at all, except for Grim... being voted out tomorrow. And that doesn't help his cause at all, whether he is good or bad. If she is a bad guy, then Grim... leaves himself open to being targeted over night, which I suppose he could be willing to do, in effect sacrificing himself for the good of the Committee.

Ok, [vote:Gilly]

The outting bit is because either you're guessing or basing this on some knowledge you have gain from a night action, if it's the former then I need to know more, and if it's the latter then hence the outting.

Erm....

You're either outing yourself as someone who is saying we should vote for Gilly because he knows Gilly is bad or you're advising us to vote for Gilly based on nothing at all. Given all you're saying is "Vote for Gilly because I said so" it does rather look like you could be trying to lead us up the garden path.

HOWEVER!

As I said before, given that the bad guys only win con is to survive/get rid of each other, it doesn't make sense for you to be trying to kill off anyone other than a bad guy. As if you do convince us to vote off anyone but a bad guy, then you will be voted off tomorrow. And I don't believe that to be a position that helps anyone, other than the opposing bad guys.

So, as illogical as it might seem to follow Grim... based on "I'm saying nothing, I'm admitting nothing, just trust me and vote for Gilly", it makes more sense than voting for someone else based on absolutely nothing.

Right no point dropping hints since it's too late in the game to be coy.

Spy

So secret, no one else on the Council knows you exist. Choose a side at the start (PM it to me) and then try and help them win.

Win condition : Save your chosen allies.

Actions (1 per night) : Spy on a player of your choosing. You will find out if they are on the side of your chosen win condition but will not learn their role. However, if investigated while spying you will be so well disguised you will appear to be from the same country as your chosen target.

You can also choose to send messages relaying what you have found however since you are alone in the game, you cannot control who receives them. PM me your message and I will deliver it.

I checked with Trooper and I'm allowed to reveal my role, so there it is. I don't know if Grim... Is claiming and investigative role but if he is then it could be because I was spying last night. For what it's worth, my target was Bobby so if anything came up on me, then it's actually him you found. My spying revealed he was not on my chosen side.

Post subject:  Re: UNScum : Day 4

Unless Trooper posts in here to say he's worded your role wrongly, then I know that can't be true.
So my vote isn't changing.
