The few remaining townsfolk rush over to Spinglo Sponglo's house and smash the door down. They see his lifeless body sitting limply on the sofa in the lounge, sans trousers. He looks different in another way, a way that the villagers can't quite put their finger on. On closer inspection of his corpse, they see that it's covered in a fine white powder. The villagers, fearing it may be anthrax, cover their faces and kick the corpse off the sofa. When it hits the floor, the villagers gasp when they see a grapefruit peering out at them from Spinglo Sponglo's very sore looking anus. They carefully remove the grapefruit. There's another one behind it! Apart from that, there are no obvious signs of the cause of death. Puzzled, the villagers turn to leave and see a human brain stapled to the door. They walk back over to the body and it finally hits them. He's wearing a wig! Pulling off the toupee reveals a deep scar around the circumference of his head, with stitches holding the two parts of his head together. Suddenly, they hear a squeak from inside Spinglo Sponglo's head! Zardoz steadies himself, before undertaking the grim task of undoing the stitches. After what seems like an age, he manages to remove the skullcap. Inside the head, where his brain should have been, is a chinchilla! Scattered around Spinglo Sponglo!'s house are old Werther's Originals wrappers and a set of false teeth sit in a glass by his bed. Spinglo Sponglo! was the Townie Awkward Bugger. |

Sheepeh was also missing. The four remaining townsfolk search low and high, eventually finding him in the back alley behind the town surgery. Upon inspection of the body, they find a single gunshot wound to the head. It appears he was on his way home from working late when he was killed - he was still wearing his labcoat and stethoscope. On his left middle finger was the ring of Jasmine. Sheepeh was the Recruited Cult Doctor. |

It is now Day 6. With 4 players alive, 3 votes are required for a lynch and 3 votes for there to be no lynch. The day will time out at 5pm Thursday. |

He was the awkward bugger! Why didn't I see that before! So this means there's me, 1 or 2 cultists and 1 or 2 Mafia. Probably 1 Mafia, as there's pretty obviously no roleblocker. [vote:Joans] Sorry, my old friend, but you've been defending yourself far too much for just a simple townie. |

A quick decision is made. LaceSensor, GazChap and Zardoz grab Joans before he can even start to protest. At this late stage, no one can be bothered with the traipse up the mountainside. All three rain down blows on Joans' head until he stops flinching. They all look round at each other, panting; the bloodlust from their eyes fading. What happens next? Joans was a Townie. Night actions, please. |
