Another day, another death. The screams are becoming routine. The scene is not. Dudley is found in his house, very dead, still wearing the tatters of his Costumed Vigilante uniform.

He's been lashed to a small table, face up, with his limbs tied to the table legs. LaceSensor gingerly prods the body. There is more neat stitchwork, this time around the throat; it looks like his throat has been opened up and then sewn back up again. Mr Dave, groaning a little as he bends over, points out there is way too much blood on the floor though... The Rev Owen, swallowing back bile, mutely nods to the mirror on the wall behind him, which he smashed back on day one. There aren't enough pieces of it. It seems that someone has cut open Dudley's throat, rammed broken glass in, sewn it back up, and made him drink a glass of water. He's then proceeded to vomit back up the broken glass, choke on the vomit, and swallow it all again. Cause of death could be blood loss or drowning in his own blood, it's really difficult to tell without a post-mortem.

But that's not all! There is a kidney dish under the table; he has a very neat "40" sutured onto his left cheek; and as with the last brutal murder, his incisor teeth are also missing. Finally, perhaps in commentary on his secret identity, his trigger finger has been amputated (and neatly sutured), and a teatowel has been tied around his head with two eyeholes neatly cut into it, in a crude approximation of a mask.

What now will become of his combined fancy dress and village counselling business? ("Costume 'nd village-aunty". He told you in the first post!)

Right - we know the killer is faintly observant as they picke up on Dudders's hints, so that rules out 90% of us.

So what we do is work out who amongst us has a modicum of intelligence - and hang them.

Definitely not clever, no. I'd say pretty ordinary really.

I wasnt bitten either, surely with only one kill looking most likely like the SK there is a possibility of 2 bites today although I guess there could be none aswell.

Quite right, that was (I presume) just Dudley telling us that Mr Russ did nothing on the first night.
The odds of Dudley happening to target the Sire on the first night while the Sire also decides to do nothing are probably quite low, but not impossible.

We don't seem to have any other deaths though, which suggests that the Sire didn't try to bite a protected role, so we're back to:
He bit someone that didn't want to own up to it
He got roleblocked, but there wasn't anyone that could have roleblocked him.
He had a night off.

If it was the first one, then there's most likely another Childe out there, otherwise we could have at least 2 bite victims out there today?
Help?

In fact, if I was the Sire, and had been smart enough to not do anything the first night to sow distrust amongst the townies, but I knew that I had been tailed by the Vigilante... well, I certainly wouldn't mind the world knowing that I was watched all night doing nothing, would I?

This is out-of-game information and shouldn't be relied on. I have already raised it with them privately (I worry about people cheating) and have told me it was nothing to do with the game, they were PMing other people. I'd advise you and all other players to disregard this. You should also keep in mind that I have had numerous rule clarification requests via PMing from people who don't want their suspicions to be made too public incase of reprisals.

Use of metadata like where people are on the site, login times, PM times, etc are strongly discouraged.
