If the hacker's made a townie vote for a townie, it's all over.

Could Russ and Mimi be more blatantly obvious in asking for a mod kill, given it would hand them the game?

Irrelevant in the end, since the Hacker has guaranteed a Mafia win, but still!

Well you did set some precident earlier by giving people 'strikes' for not participating and then not really following up on them

I have. Both Runcle and Joans are/were on two strikes.

Joans only failed to participate on one day, and has submitted an action every night.

Bah.. try to be helpful & use logic, and you get mostly ignored or thought of as mafia.
I want to know what those stupid messages were that got Grim & Trooper killed, and malcs cryptic memories...
Also, big grumbles at APOD for not just posting the PM contents (i.e. showing us the printouts), and the masons for being totally useless.
You had the chance, man, & you blew it!

I think we were mainly unlucky losing our main investigators on the first night, but caught some luck with the mafia killing the sk for us, but then having the dumb ass messages to confuse & humiliate us for a laugh...

Mostly a very confusing game :P

I didn't want Joans to be mod killed. I was pointing out that he was rubbish at taking part in the day, but must have been doing something active to stay alive, therefore had a night action ;) I actually said it was a good thing for the town it was still alive.

Which it was.

I did keep saying I thought Joans was sending messages.

to be honest, we actually picked people to kill at night more or less at random.

That was great!

As far as choosing people to kill, it was completely at random. we didn't bother to look at voting patterns either, just who we thought might be masons based on hunches.

And mostly keeping alive quiet people so that the day timed out.

So night 1 I targetted Mr Russ and Grim... and got

Quote:
You wake up. It seems to your body clock to be early in the night. You're in a bed, and next to you is a note. It is hand written, and you easily recognise your own handwriting. It says,

"Mr Russell is in the Mafia, and what's more..."

There is no 'more'. The note has been torn by someone.

You hear a hiss, you breathe in gas, you pass out again

Russ didn't know he was mafia at that point. I found Myp on the first night, Malc found me on the second night and then I found Russ on the third. Found each other quite quickly, which was good going.

Thanks for running the game, Curiosity.

The townies deserved to die for being so unlucky or belmish. :D

I trust you liked my "meh" night actions.

If i'd have survived past the first night you'd have probably gone to your death thinking that only to find out you were actually mafia scum :-)

BTW - A thank you to Curio - a lot of work went into the writing and running of the game.

I was sad that on the first night only DavPaz and Malc went for the two guys who were killed, as it meant that nobody was under the false impression that they were a killer.

The Mafia played an excellent game (Myp aside), though they could have been rumbled had people paid attention to who had lied about asking their roles.

Also, the hacker struck 5 times, but two victims belmed up the way they were supposed to place the vote, hence some confusion.

I had fun though (and I think Joans might still not know he was the Troublemaker).

Ahem.

Or, of course, had anyone listened when I told them who all three of the bad guys were.

Yeah. Anyone can make a list and only get 60% right. To put that in context, that's about a B at GCSE.

I wasn't fully aware that my night actions had any effect, as some of the 'enforced' votes weren't obvious.

Voting for myself was a way to end the game. :)

Thanks for running the game Curio, as has been said the "memories" were nonsense I made up, initially I was going to try and make a riddle out of it, but when I learnt that I was the head of the mafia, I thought very little about.

When myp turned out to be the role blocker, I started them again, to try and make it look like myp had been blocking me and that's why they stopped.

Lots of fun, and quite good luck on our part to find each other so quickly, and to get rid of the 2 detective roles on the first night.

Malc
