Grim..., are you a grizzled detective? The kind of hard living flat foot who gets the job done by cutting corners and bucking authority? And if those pen pushers up at City Hall don't like it, well, they can park their overpaid fat arses on this middle digit and swivel. Swivel until they squeal like pigs on a honeymoon!

I'm sure it's ok, but putting a mixer in a single malt whisk[e]y is the worst thing anyone can do in the world.

I am so having JD and coke tonight. Although mine is just big standard regular JD, not the nicer fancy pants version. I will just have to have fancy pants wine as well (not at the same time... not again).

I pretty much only drink American whisky with mixers, and I pretty much only drink Scotch and Welsh whisky neat.

My latest thing is Dr Pepper with Woodford Reserve. It's delicious.

My other latest thing is the the cocktail Danielle invented over Christmas: spiced rum (I prefer Kraken, she prefers Captain Morgan), Coke or Sprite, lime, (so far, so Cuba Libra) -- plus Galliano. It's really nice. I mean, if you like vanilla. If you don't like vanilla then I have nothing but pity for you, you monster.

Nah, those bottles are too classy for the proper grizzled detective.

My drawer is too narrow. Boo. I do however have Ardbeg on the shelf.

Also, drawer of tea has brought about a further desk of tea.

That post-it is a record of how I might re-invent the spelling of the word 'worm' if I had brought it into the English language.
