Help me hive mind.
I have been told I need fancy dress for Saturday. Been looking and all are too small. As I have broad shoulders. I need XL or above.
Any suggestions. Will go as far as a morph suit, at a push.

Big cardboard box. Spray paint silver. Cut discs of blue shiny paper and affix where you want eye holes to be. Stick cds to these leaving a blue border. Cut up a black plant pot into strips. Affix above eyes to make lashes. Use silver foil over black and red paper to make a mouth. Cut around this 3/4 way to make a hinge so you can eat and drink. Tumble dryer hose to cover arms and blacktrousers. Add other bits as you see fit.

I went to a fancy dress party as Leatherface once. I made the mask out of a chamois leather and had a real working chainsaw. It didn't have any teeth though so it wasn't dangerous.... I think...

I and a mate once went to a university fancy dress party as our (at the time) girlfriends. Little black dress, wigs, heels, stuffed bras, makeup, the works. We were, however, living off-campus at the time, so the journey required getting the train into the very centre of Birmingham, then walking the entire length of the city centre in full get-up, on a Saturday night. That was...different.

I've seen some pretty cool fancy dress costumes at parties over the years, but one of my favourites were two guys who came to a British Empire theme party dressed as gin and tonic. The main winner was that they had lemon and lime slices on their home made string belts, and spent the evening garnishing people's drinks!
