Morning Beexers.

I imagine you have a fair number of these things dropping into your inboxes on a regular basis, so we won't be offended in the slightest if you don't want to sponsor Mrs T, especially as hardly any of you have met her yet :D
However Mrs T is doing the Race For Life this year with her mum. She doesn't like asking for sponsorship, so i've taken it upon myself to tout her around and see how much money i can get for her... :hat:

A not unusual story of both Kates mum and grandma having cancer and surviving, and my mum having cancer and unfortunately not. Cancer is a cunt.

Has anyone beside Craster and I met her?

Isn't it strange that I'm more likely to sponsor the wife of someone on here, who I've never met.. then I am to sponsor someone I work with and spend every day with.

Odd that.

Anyway.. I'll chuck a couple of quid through this evening and I wish her the best of luck!

If she does it in under 32 minutes, I'll chuck her a tenner. I like to incentivise this sort of thing.

I think she probably could, however have you seen a Race for Life event? Weaving through the throng of pink shirted grannies will impact the time :)

Normally I would, but I dislike Race For Life so I don't want them to have my money.

I don't think it's appropriate that only women are allowed to do it.

Given the live TV coverage at the moment, I'd say she isn't going anywhere fast.

Sorry Troops (and Mrs. Troops-to-be), but I can't give money to their cause while they deliberately discriminate in this manner. Think how many more donations they'd get if men were allowed to do it too, it just doesn't make any sense to me.

Good luck with the race though :)

No worries. Mrs T isn't that enthused by the whole thing either, she was somewhat roped into it. :)
