So yeah, I'm getting more heavily into emulation. Nothing groundbreaking, but thought it'd be nice to have a place to keep thoughts, questions etc.

So for now, I'm trying to get a PS3 pad to work on my Mac. I know, get a 360. And a PC. But no. Apparently drivers for PS3 pads come with Snow Leopard and later, so it's pretty lol that I have normal Leopard. I'll change that on pay day, I reckon. And get more RAM. For now, sites recommend tattiebogle for drivers on an older OS, but after an install and reboot, that seemed to disappear. Most odd.

I got SNES 9x for running my legal backups, and it looks fine. Games respond to keyboard input. But when I try the PS3 pad, even though the app knows it's there when I look in options, it doesn't do anything. Tried it wired and bluetooth. I just end up turning on the PS3 upstairs, and accidentally booting up WipeOut HD.

Mac user here (and one currently cursing PC's). However I run a standard PC for my emulation needs. And a 360 pad works straight out of the box.

Emulation on the Mac can be hit or miss. Can't find any CPC emulators I truly love for starters.

Most of my Emu is done on PC, with a bit on the first gen Xbox and PSP.

The only thing i did on a Mac was Dophin (WII and Gamecube) I have a IMac and was able to hook up WII controlers using the bluetooth, worked very well.

Aye, I have Dolphin (but again, I may just need to upgrade my OS so I can use the latest build). Think I'll get a USB adaptor - could theoretically put my Wavebird receiver in there.

Now I'm on Mountain Lion, things do - I'm sorry! - just seem to work. PS3 pad drivers are built into the OS, and I've even got it going on the bluetooth, freeing up a USB. N64 and SNES are going great guns thus far. May try NGC!

Or even some non-Ninty systems...
