Be Excellent To Each Other

I’ve only just started this but early signs are that it’s wonderful. Probably everything you need to know can be contained in the genre description:

* roguelike
* Metroidvania
* little bit Dark Souls
* really deft, agile controls — reminiscent of Mark of the Ninja

It is wonderful.

Although i have yet to beat the final boss. He's very mean to me.

I didn’t realise this had its own thread.

I’ve been smashing this and it’s been smashing me back. I’ve got so decent at it that I had absolutely crush every level up to The Tower Knight. Actually the initial levels get a bit boring now as I slog through them desperate to get some decent loot. I’ve met the big boss three times now and although he’s been giving me a good kicking I’m bearing down on him. I reckon if I get decent loot drops on a good run I’d mangle him.

Anyway, it’s great this.
