I had no idea where to put this, so I made a topic.(I couldn't find one) Anyone play Garry's Mod? It looks quite interesting, and is on sale on Steam just now (I'm considering getting it) Is it worth it? Is it fun?

I heard that you used to need another game to play it off of, Is this still the case?

I imagine it's probably standalone at this point. It was originally a free mod for Half-Life 2. It first appeared very soon after that came out so it's years old now. I think "Garry" made a hell of a lot of money off it when he put a price on it. It was great fun when I messed around with it. Basically a sandbox in Half-Life 2's engine.

Do you still have it? I will probably only buy it if i find some other people that will play it with me.

It's only £1.49 (Down from £5.99)
