I'm an infrequent purchaser of Juxtapoz but I made sure I snapped up the Halloween Special as it's full of arty farty monsters and spookies.

Well worth picking up if that tickles your pickle. WHSmiths usually stock it.

You Tonka toy. I mean what's the mag about? Is it artwork, or more general design stuff?

I haven't bought an actual magazine in ages.

Actually, that isn't entirely true, I've paid for loads of various celeb gossip tat and wedding magazines, I just haven't read any of them myself...

Illustration mainly, yes.

MBR - if there's a map of routes near me in it. Not a great read, otherwise, as theysdescribe a £2k pushbike as 'affordable'.

Private Eye - although my subscription has lapsed

Carve - Surfing magazine bsed from kernow. Nice pictures, shit editorials.

Bike - Motorbike magazine if it has a buyer's guide to something I like in it.

Yeah, I used to buy it regularly, but the haven't done for a while. The articles are quite good, too, if a little hippy at times.

I get a couple of Land Rover magazines, and my car has been in them a couple of times (just photos, no features sadly).

And I get .net delivered to work (and I was mentioned in that once too, thanks to Mr. Grannell).

I sometimes (maybe four times a year) grab a copy of Zoo or Nuts if they've got a particularly pretty girl in.

I had a subscription to Top Gear (as a birthday present). T'was okay, the most entertaining stuff was the diaries of long term tests of cars by staff members. About a third of the magazine's bulk every month was taken up by their list of every car currently on sale in the UK.

I actually like the hippiness. I don't empathise with the sentiment, but it's nice that people can be so relaxed in their lives. 'Look, hemp flip flops. Sweet'.

Heh. "This is printed on recycled paper with biodegradable ink". Some of the articles are very good, mind, I'm not 100% against hippisms.

I might get a copy from ChASDA later.

What are you doing reading surfing magazines? Aren't you a bodyboarder?

The only magazine I subscribe to these days is 'Private Eye'.
I'd love to get the 'Economist', but now I'm not a student I don't have the time to read it all once a week.

I used to get 'Prospect', but let my subscription lapse a few years ago as I was increasingly annoyed by some of its technocratic tone, and in the last issue there was a really smug big feature article on 'We remember '68' that read like one long entry to Pseud's Corner.

Quite distressing/amazing how many old porn mags are being sold on eBay. Haven't these people got hedgerows to leave them in?

They must've changed the T&Cs because I'm seeing quite a few. There's one called "Game" so searching for "gam* mag*" brings them up all the time :S

Oh dear God. I'd always hoped and prayed this day would never come, but it appears all our efforts have been in vain. They are here.

It's been a pleasure and an honour to work with you all. God speed.

As a scary yet alluring harpy with EYES OF DEATH, man.

You've never lived until you've been bollocked by Ms Craster Snr for putting ball bearings in the kedgeree.

Phwoooooar.
