Can anyone help? Currently, on the iPlayer, there's a Foo Fighters gig from Reading. It's in two parts and it's only on for another 3 days.

I would dearly like it to have forever. Does anyone know a way I can do this?

I've tried the usual torrent sites but can't seem to find it so it looks like I've got to go the hard way.

You can download a WMV from the iPlayer itself but it has some DRM stuff on it. I'm sure there's a pretty easy way to strip that out, though.

There are a few apps out there that can download from iplayer, but it's been a while since i've done it. Google is your friend.

I've tried Googling it and it looks like there's a couple of programs that will do it but I wondered if anyone had used one?

There used to be, but I remember something changed and they stopped working. Have they started working again?

http://po-ru.com/projects/iplayer-downloader/ was always the best one, but that's still broken.

How long ago did stuff change? I ripped something about 9 months ago I think, but I can't recall what app I used.
I know I had to use my windows box, as I couldn't find anything on OSX that would do it, for free at least.

'Aimersoft Video Convertor Ultimate' is the first entry on Google... It's free, and they claim it works.

Not at home so cant check but I've used two recently

One is called something like 'getiplayer' on Windows and is basically command line driven - you run it with a search string for part of what your looking for then it gives you a PID number and you run it again giving the PID plus the quality settings you want

The other was on the Mac and was just what i found via google - it has a very basic front end where you search for show by name and just click download - it does default to low crappy resolution so I had to go back in and set it to HD and download things again.

I can probably give you names for them tonight.

It looks like I've found a torrent for this that someone has already cut up and made into a 'proper' DVD.

I'm not sure it's as good a quality as it could be though but I'll get it downloaded over the weekend.

You can find it here. You will need to register first, mind you.

Here's some artwork if you feel like burning a copy.

You could probably find it here also. Not that I've logged in to check. It's definitely on the first link though.

Does it actually cost ten cents for every twelve downloads? That would be quite cool.

I didn't see that? I only signed up for it this morning and haven't had a good look because I'm at work.

Is that what it says then?

I've been a member for years. It's my go to site for most concerts.
