I actually know someone who works at PC world so may be able to get a discount further on that price. However it's out of stock here so unlikely.

I'd be happy to grab and ship ( assuming they're in stock near me ) , but it looks fairly hefty, so I bet shipping might be a fair old chunk.

£10 less than yesterday viewtopic.php?p=625535#p625535 , however none in my local shops (at least it does show stock in Salisbury so there will be some around the country)

Box is quite large and reasonably heavy (cant see a weight on it) , and the 'cabinet' is flat packed (so you have the control part plus 5 bits of wood to screw together)

Oh and the free game is now Missile Command (not pong) as it says on the box - although you should just ignore that and use iMame

Thanks for the tip. Just picked mine up. Only one in the store, though, I'm afraid, so I couldn't grab another to ship over.

Anyone with a Costco membership should note they're on sale there too.

If anyone wants to send it to me, I can probably get it shipped over to Europeland for a pretty cheap price with my business postage account. Maybe 2 or 3 quid or something. Thus it should only maybe cost £10 in shipping in total.

Unless of course you want in insured which adds another £5 on.

I just want them to release a cheap iCade controller without all the case stuff like they said they were going to a year ago. I've no room/money for one of these big things.

So this (on the right), from Romanista's link?

Which, incidentally, is the best of the three models ION's so far released. The original is cute and great for blocking light, but it's pricey and only really optimised for portrait games; the mobile is best-in-class, but still not that great; but the Core is pretty good value for money and a nice unit. The case is a bit cheap-feeling, but the stick and buttons feel suitably solid.
