Be Excellent To Each Other

You may remember in 2009 that I took part in Stick it to MS which involved me and about 600 other drummers all playing drums in a record breaking day in Birmingham.

This year, I’m doing it again... but bigger.

There’s going to be 800 drummers all playing at the same time in Manchester to break the world record which we currently hold. It all sounds like good fun, but there is a serious side to it. We’re raising money for the MS society which I’m sure you’ll agree, is a great cause and one which is close to my families heart.

I’m looking to appeal to everyone’s good nature to see if they’d like to offer support, monetary or otherwise to help me on my way.

Thanks everyone who has donated money so far, it's really very kind of you. This is tomorrow and I'm going to bed in a bit but it's not too late to donate if anyone is feeling generous?

I've just got back from this and I'm knackered.

It was a great day with nearly £60,000 raised so far.. There'll be more to come in physical sponsorships over the next few days but it really was a fantastic effort.

We had enough people there to break the record so apparently we just need to wait for verification from Guiness and then it's all official.
