Happy Friday, chums!

This week's early BeeX WeeX is brought to you in partnership with Berocca, caffeine, Nurofen, caffeine, bacon, and caffeine.

So we've had a pretty busy week this week. A load of folks decided they hate another load of folks, so Grim... invented superfoeing, and as a result a number of our lost sheep have found their way home! Hurrah! Curio's superb Blind Scum Game finished, with a thoroughly well-deserved victory going to the Cult and their handsome, charismatic leader. The Leveson report was released, and it was not unexpectedly a wishy-washy weaksauce set of recommendations. A decent bucket of Yays this week, too - TheFireFaerie got a new job, Curio won a quiz, Ange is unexpectedly solvent, and Malc...erm....well, we really have no idea. Yay!

Your POTW nominations!

Zardoz pens an ode to those gone but not forgotten.
CraigGrannell talks sense about equality.
Chinny takes one for the team and reviews Sing Lofty so we don't have to.
devilman is entering the wrong types of raffle.
Trousers reignites the format wars.
Grim... lays down some hard truth on Mr Kissyfur.
nicademus hates us all.
MaliA demonstrates a surprising level of coding/knitting knowledge crossover.
TheFireFaerie seems excited about something, but it's hard to tell what it might be.
Rockin' the Mo, SST-style.
Curio reckons TheVision's got the look.
markg explains his personal foe system.
Jazzy ably demonstrates the I done fucked up.
Throughsilver enquires into Alberto's sham relationship.
Mr Kissyfur is a massive twat.
Dimrill.....yeah, I'm not explaining that.

Thanks to the nominators - Curiosity, Grim..., MaliA, Kern, Goddess Jasmine, KovacsC, Craster, Lord Raiden, DavPaz, and Mr Russell.

We're going to change the Beex Weeker process a bit. There's been a fair few times where folks who've been nominated just haven't been able to commit the time to do it, and that's fair enough - BeeX WeeX can be a bit of a pain in the arse if you've got a load of stuff on. So instead, I'll ask for volunteers. Please sing up in this thread if you're willing to do a BeeX WeeX over the next few weeks, and I'll stick you on a list.

Cheers all!

Thanks, Mr Craster!

I'd be happy to do BeeXWeex, for the 3 people that'd get to see it.

Nah, all the best people never get nominated.

(Or rather, they do but they don't make it. I know for a fact that at least two of my posts this last week got nominated. And not by me. I demand a recount.)

Happy to be added to the list, but I should say now that I can't guarantee publishing it at L33T o'clock and that it might very well consist of nothing but obscure references to Roman Britain, US history, or minor ex-Prime Ministers.

Sounds a million times better than the average beex weex, to be fair.

I'd love to do a Beex Weex at some point - a video-based one like Vision's :D (If he has the endless patience to explain to a hapless old buffer as to how the fook such things can be done lol)

Not for a few weeks as I'm all over the shop/out of UK for much of the time with work, but deffo at some point, if people think that would be a good laugh. :)

I will volunteer to do another BEEX week. But only as a "concept" as before. Possibly entirely in Japanese or something.

Don't do a text adventure where you have to get Holly Willoughby drunk and then fuck her. It takes ages.

Crikey man, if that's what you call limited knowledge! If my Beex Weex is 10% as good as yours was, I'd consider it a bloody miracle. Btw, is it best to do the video footage via an iPhone? (I've got a 4S). I assume that you the transfer the the footage into some software or other, which can compress it for web hosting, and more importantly, allow it to be edited with screenshots added, music/commentary overlaid and such like please mate?

:DD

That's given me a few ideas mate! I could be the Gamblers' Ghost of Christmas Future, pointing to fruit machine punters ominously - scythe in hand - from the safety of my Porsche cockpit? I'll find out which pubs AE frequents. :D

I reckon you should be a "mystery guest" as well mate. We gotta get a Lotus -v- Porsche road duel in there somewhere! :D

Just as long as it's not two idiots rambling to the camera for an hour before forum-flouncing off into the ether then I'll be satisfied.

Nah. It'll only have one idiot in it, so that's a 50% improvement. Albeit, flouncing can never be discounted in my case. :p
