Are we going to play, Beexers?

We're proud to announce that Marvel Heroes will launch on June 4th, 2013! Gamers at PAX East were first to hear the news, announced by David Brevik and the team during our PAX East panel.

Its a different way of playing.

They say it’s free to play and that’s true, however it’s got a shop where people will be able to buy advantages and better stuff. They are selling founders packs and the most expensive one is £129.00 and offers more XP that standard players among other things.

Still I'm sure that on free play it will be good.

It's nice - nothing you've not seen before, but nice.

I think it will be a laugh with a load of us playing.

Chances of me paying £20 to unlock Deadpool: High.

I'm not paying no money for a game without Gambit!

I think he's an NPC that sells cards.

Right? It seems you can form a "supergroup" once they are though, which might persist.

I'm getting a crash to desktop every half hour or so, which is very annoying, particulary as i seem to be at a point where the next waypoint is excessively far away, i.e. over 30 minutes of playing...

Ok, crashing every 5 minutes now...

That's enough for me, i'll give them a week or so to fix it. It's a good game that isn't anything new and is more than a bit clunky is some aspects, but even with the crashes i've thoroughly enjoyed myself so far.
It just needs a fair amount of polish in terms of UI and bug fixing. Looking on the forums i'm not alone in the constant crashes.

Yup, checked today. Most crashes happen when zoning or loading.

I'm up to L11 now, the crashes get more and more frequent as the levels get busier and bigger.

3 hours or so I suspect. It has a weird way of letting you play your other characters too, If you do it wrong you can lose story progress on your main character...

Bad memory stick isolated, no more crashes so far!

I've just finished chapter 4, so half way through. Getting a little bored to be honest, it's extremely samey.

I have an RMA for the bad stick from the supplier. Ordinarily I just wouldn't bother as the stick is only worth about a tenner, but their t&c tell me I need to cover the return costs, which contravenes the Sales of Goods Act I believe?
I'm going to start an argument with them over it and see what happens :D
