Just played the Demo, really really enjoyed it. Somewhat scripted but I didn't mind that, it just all felt really nice and captured the shooting of the original in a way that no game has since, imho. Certainly a lot better than the floaty, fiddly shite of rage that I also tried the crappy demo of.

I'm having that Goldeneye at some point, one assumes it shan't hold its value on the store shelves.

To me it felt hella generic CoD style with Daniel Craig rather than Mac or Roach.

Id pay a tenner for it, no more, if only for old school luls

...what of the comedy death, the pistol headshots from miles away, the disappearing corpses, the scalable objectives/difficulty, the dam?

I've not heard many good things about this. Maybe even none.

Like GY I really enjoyed the demo and it got added to my list of 'stuff I don't have and will pick up if I see it for cheap and after I've played through the current massive backlog of unplayed games I own'. It's obviously not massively like the original but it does have shades of it and was different enough from most other FPS' to pique my interest. It was good to see the concept of harder difficulty settings adding more objectives to each level which made me wonder why it's not a technique that more games stole over the years. It also seemed to have some kind of concept of stealth, albeit slightly hit-or-miss, which differentiates it positively from your CoDs and whatnot.
