Interesting - remember we're less than a week away from CES (http://www.cesweb.org/) which may give some hints as to what the big players are doing (Microsofts last CES so I wonder if they would drop some hints of something big by E3 time?)

I saw something on Kotaku the other day that featured a Japanese magazine which seemed to have already announced the 3DS slim.

For the first time (if we're being generous) that's not being run on the same weekend (and down the road from) the Adult Entertainment Expo. Tech Journo's are most upset.

Yeah , but if Microsoft do unveil the neXtbox and say its going to be out this year or the start of next you can guarantee that Sony will come forward and talk about the PS4 as if they have always planned to

Don't be silly. That would mean Sony lied.

I could see Sony mainly focussing on PS3 and PS Vita, but giving a small tease about the PS4. Just something to try to convince people not to get too excited for the Wii-U/360 successor.
