Help! RMD present for my dad

I need emergency ideas for a present for my dad. I completely forgot about his birthday this Thursday. I'm rubbish, I know.

He's into classic cars (currently restoring a TR4a, very good at metal work and such), has an allotment and likes ale. I've bought him awesome stuff in the past but have run out of inspiration this year.

Teng is High Quality. That or Snap-on, American tools are super tough and shiny.
These are small AF sockets, long-reach ones - a little set like that is a bit of a luxury that you wouldn't tend to buy for yourself, but it's really nice to have available.

Yeah, I did wonder. It's in that category like hipflasks, isn't it - things that seem like a good idea but that you never need in practice.

DB - like the idea! Not sure he'd go for that though.

I managed to break off the pliers on a Leatherman. Makes me wonder about the build quality.

I got him some suede gloves for the winter driving in the end. To go with the awesome flat cap and scarf I got him a while back, which he always wears. Also some nice ale. Not to go with the driving.

I quite fancy a Leatherman, mind, despite their being useless and me always being near my enormous collection of tools any time I need to use a tool I almost said enormous tool collection, which would be something else entirely).
