Hang on - was that awesome first post just a diversion to hide the fact that you are an unusually dedicated spammer, advertising Hollands Pies?

Ooh, idea! See if those lottery winners for the Scotch Lands north of the wall will swap their prize for yours...It'd be like negotiating with a toddler.

"You don't want that rubbish cheque, it's only a useless piece of paper, look at all these pies! You'd much rather have those, wouldn't you? Give me the cheque, there's a good Scottisher"

I will be happy to relieve you of some of the money (or pies, should negotiations fail) for the use of my wisdom?

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Although, I totally would be, good idea! Boobies are a *much* better commodity than wisdom!

Do let us know how much pie you receive.

Oddly, I heard of this through Gary Bainbridge's Twitter feed.

I know a guy who won a years supply of beer - 365 cans of Carlsberg. That's a lot of beer, but it didn't last anywhere near that long.

That'd last about 4 months, in a normal single male household.

3 cans a night of that swill would be as much as I could stomach, to be fair.

I'd say closer to half that time or less, if you factor in "really" drinking on weekends

Yes, 365 cans would be a lifetime's supply for me, and even then only if I found a way to cook with it. Otherwise it'd have to appear in my will.

I assume this is because you don't like it, rather than because Craster's not the only one whose "can't burp" imaginary medical condition prevents them from drinking fizzy drinks?

You could always enter a years worth of lemonade competition, Doc.

Both, as it happens. And your lack of sensitivity for the burp-disabled sickens me.

Going back on topic, I've never heard of these pies. How do they compare with my current favourite, Pie Minister?

Granted you might not like Carlsberg, but IIRC, like Kronenbourg, Stella, Heineken and Holsten, they've stopped making the shit chemically enhanced crap that you could only buy in this country and have started brewing the beer here observing the Rheinheitsgebot purity laws they all adhere to in continental Europe. I quite like Carlsberg, it's quite refreshing compared to some of the lagers out there.

Or are you confusing it with Carlsberg, which isn't much kop.

I love pies so much I dare only eat one a fortnight. Treat-Pie!

I love Pieminister. Though Milgi's in Cardiff somehow delivered there's lukewarm. Doc G. duly noted my mild disappointment.
