We've no had one of these for a while & I liked them. Here's a daft theme to kick it all off again.

Jumping around like an idiot is great fun, but a midget clown jumping out your wardrobe and with a hatchet not so much. There are loads of options for JUMP! Who knows how you'll get half of them into a picture, but try anyway ;) You have two weeks*. Have fun.

Rules?
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
1. It's not a competition. You're only challenging yourselves & I won't be picking a winner.
2. Use what you've got. Your ideas & execution are more important than how good your gear is.
3. Lurkers will be frowned at, join in.
4. Funny/clever titles are encouraged.
5. Advice giving & asking for help is encouraged too. Some folk are better/more knowledgeable than others, share ideas.
6. You can tell people about this. It's not Fight club, if you know someone who'd like it let them know. After all the original photo challenge was one of the reasons I stuck around, it was something to be a part of while I got a feel for you lot :)
7. Really there are no rules, just try & stick with the theme.

Additional notes: I'm not going to say old pictures from your collection aren't allowed, but I will point out that it's hardly a challenge (even if your collection is huge). The aim of the challenge is to encourage you to get off your arses & get out the door. Hopefully the results will be some nice/interesting pictures & an improvement in your abilities.

Half the pictures from the original series of challenges have disappeared, however in the interests of completeness I'll link to the search. It's worth a wee look as there were some cracking photies :)
*Possibly longer if I forget again.

I have a plan. It may involve a pulley and some rope though.

Ahem. No one seems to have mentioned the cleavers. I mean, the clown is bad enough, BUT WHY HAS HE GOT THOSE DAMN CLEAVERS?

Great shots though.

That Clown shot would look even more nightmarish taken at night and under lit. Not to say it's not superbly creepy already.

Flying clown is fantasticly disturbing. But I love Zardoz's simple little roll the best. I really like the different ways the legs are pointing and the blur and the light. Simple, yet wonderfully evocative.

Haven't found any jumpy material yet that isn't in my back catalogue. :( Maybe in Manchester!

What's a seamhorse and how do we do it? (I just googled but it will only give me results, both text and image, for 'seahorse')

Explain, please, then start a thread and I shall do it (as long as I need nothing other than my laptop)

:DD

@Meems, see when someone mashes some pictures together you can sometimes see the joins? Those are the seams and for the purposes of amusing ourselves & gently ribbing folk who's pictures have obvious joins we* make seamhorses, the more ridiculous the better :)
*Folk who play with image manipulation software & have too much time on our hands.

Handy hints for avoiding seams; use layer masks to remove stuff, feather the edges of your brushes & do small areas at a time, smooth over the joins using the burn & dodge tools, match hues & colours :)

Just a quickie. I like the subject but don't think the picture is that great, but I wanted to put something in the challenge thread and join in.

Here's my effort. Not incredibly happy with it so it gets on via Photobucket and not Flickr, but hey, it fits the mission statement.

You can upload to Flickr and set your pic view as 'you only' and still copy and paste their URL for here.

Both good late additions by the way chaps.
