Hi all,

I have been looking at gap insurance as I nearly lost out in my crash a few weeks ago.

The Skoda dealers can't offer it as I do business miles, infarct most of my driving is business miles as I am a home worker and drive to customer sites.

I have had a look at money supermarket, to compare a few, but I am a little confused.

Are there any companies you have used, recommend or to be avoided?

I used Direct Gap for £179 for 5 years on a £6000 purchase price for a return to invoice policy.

Can't comment on them as I haven't had to claim though.

Last time I had it I used (I think) ALA - it was dirt cheap in comparison to the dealer's offer, and it was RTI insurance rather than just Gap.
