After a little help...

I've had a Raspberry Pi for ages and had an XBMC setup working for quite some time but I wanted to try and set up a music server that was accessible from anywhere as Google Play just wasn't enough with it's 20,000 song limit.

I was following this guide. I got as far as step two and cannot for the life of me, get the Java install to upgrade to the lastest version.

I've enquired on the site but due to them changing its posting polilcies due to spam, my query has yet to be authorised so I thought I'd ask you lot.

Any ideas, where I might be going wrong?

Thanks.

Some indication about why you can currently install it would be useful.

Error messages, failure point (step 2 is quite long)
