Can anyone recommend a program for Windows for sending out bulk SMSeseses? Free would be good, but not essential.

Er, not really - I suspect there isn't such a thing.
What number is it going to send the messages from, for example?

I can't remember what I used, I could ask. It wasn't free though, and required a knowledge of c# to use.

Yeah, there are loads. They typically involve signing up to a gateway service, where you pay per SMS. The service owns the sending number. You either feed them a message and a list of numbers, or you email (number)@mysmsgateway.com using a mass mailer and it forwards them on.

Oh yeah - I was thinking "free".

There are programs which connect to an old Nokia phone with a special cable for this purpose - you then buy an appropriate SIM that will give you enough texts. If bulk = hundreds then you can even use a PAYG SIM.

I'm sure there are online services to do this but equally sure they'll want paying for it.
