OK.

So I just found a water cooled PC case. I don't want it and I won't be playing with water cooling but I showed it to a friend who specialises in water cooling..

He says that because the radiator is made from aluminium that within a year the radiator would corrode and block the pipes.

However, I found that slightly confusing as turbo systems (both the body of the turbo and the intercooler) are made from aluminium. Infact, cheap crappy intercoolers are made from other matierials however the big good ones are made from alu.

So, I find this all slightly confusing. Would a PC radiator made from aluminium corrode with deionised/distilled coolant (or even antifreeze) running through it?

Nope

Aluminium is highly reactive and forms a layer of oxide over its surface. It won't rust. Your friend is wrong.

Well that's what I thought. I mean, the only type of thing that could possibly build in the rad causing blockage would be limescale, but if the liquid is deionised then that would not be possible due to there being no calcium or contaminates.
