I haven't seen too many trailers for it (I haven't really been looking out for it mind) but I do like these kind of shows that Channel 4 show.

I will watch but really all I'll be doing is wondering whether 80s birds were really hot or whether bad make up, shoulder pads and rubbish perms just helped them along. All female cast members will be marked on my The Egg's Scale of Sam Fox-iness (Before She Went Mental).

I don't like my TV to be too intellimectual so am actually really looking forward to season the of the Inbetweeners which starts the week after. Clunge.

Yeah that's him. My PVR's clock is an hour behind and I can't be assed to do a rescan of all the channels to fix it :D

Still have to watch the film. Is the series a continuation with the same characters?

From the look of the photo in the TV mag the actors are the same too. I doubt Tommy from Snatch will be in it again (nor that crazy fat hard nut dude from several films) as they'd probably want too much money, but the rest are all there in place.

Woody was my favourite character so I hope he's the right one (dude from Emmerdale). He reminds me of a guy I knew in Manchester when I was a kid :)

The black guy? Nah, I think that wanker cunt dude just gave him a royal kicking. Mind you, the ending didn't really confirm either so I guess that leaves it open.

I'm looking forward to this. It's so interesting watching things like since Scotland is so civilised we never really see it in real life. :ninja:

Aren't they doing 'This is England 1986' at some point, too?

Shaun's mum says to him right at the end that they've heard "Milky's going to be ok" - suggesting he got to hospital in time!

I'm enjoying it. It's certainly different in tone to the film with more laughs (or attempted laughs) rather than expecting each scene to erupt into violence. Still fuck all else on TV that's better.

I don't know, everything in the film seemed to ring true, it had a perfect sense of time and place and I really bought in to all the characters. This just doesn't have any of that. In fact I'd say it's doing a pretty thorough job of ruining EVERYTHING :'(

ive got these on the PVR, started watching a bit of the second one because by coincidence I was by the TV at the time.
It did seem pretty watered down pish version of the film. But then, Id missed the first ep, so might have to give it more of a chance.
As someone said however, I doubt there is anything better on TV atm.

Can't you buy a TV card for your Rig?

You might need extra GFX cards too though for the pixies.

Got a TV card but I've been too busy for TV lately. That's why I record it all.

Grand designs was good yesterday. I watched it late.

Well I really enjoyed that mini series. Certainly got darker in the last two episodes with some very hard to watch scenes. Powerful stuff. The best thing that's been on TV for bloody ages.

Watched the last episode of this last night, it was great. In fact the last two episodes were way better than the first two. Perhaps unsurprisingly since it was Shane Meadows who directed them. The first two just didn't seem right at all.
