Nothing to do with the ex-PM, did anyone go to the Gordon Brown centre when they were young?

Why is it that whenever I think of Gordon Brown, I also think about textures like sun?

So, err, what is the Gordon Brown centre? And why were you sent there, Mimi?

Oh, it wasn't important, I was just vaguely curious. It was a week-long residential trip that quite a lot of primary schools used to go on. You'd build a wattle and daub hut, sleep in wigwams, go on adventures and collect these keys, learn about nature, cross rivers on bits of string and the like.

Just wondering, apropos of nothing :)

Sounds great!
We got sent to this amazing crumbling mansion in the middle of a forest. And practiced playing the recorder 9 till 5 for a week.
