PlusNet (wot I use atm, wiv my throbbing 70+ Mb huzzah) are obviously on the lookout for more punters, so I have a referral code thing that if you use, should give you 3 months free, and gets me 25p off my monthly bill (huzzah) and a dabs voucher (I have never even been to dabs.com so I'm not fussed, but I don't know if it is transferrable. If it is, you can have it too if you want it)

I've been with them for 8 years or so now, cos they seem to be pretty decent, and a couple of rare but good features - you get a full POP3 account (so you can use anything_you_like@your_name.plus.com as your email, which helps control random spammage when you need to sign up for stuff), and they have a teamspeak server that you can ask for a channel to be set up on if you want a free teamspeak server.

Anyway, if you are looking for a new ISP this month, then drop me a PM & Ill give you the codeamy thingy. offer runs out at the ned of the month tho :)
If not, then please move along, nothing to see here...

bah, some bugger must be downloading pron nearby, cos I only get 48Mbit on speedtest.net atm :(

I am on their fibre-to-the-cabinet trial, which is supposed to be a 50Mbit line, but last time I checked (about a month ago) noone else in the area was using it so I was usually getting 70 - 100Mbit :DD

What's the monthly fee, minimum term and do they let two xboxs go online at the same time both with open ports? I need new broadband.

Depends which 'package' you get, no idea, & I don't see why not :)
They do seem very happy to accommodate gaming (game traffic is prioritised or something), and the few times I have had any issues with ports & stuff, the customer service has sorted it out pretty quick. Best mail them & ask tho :)

That's a router problem.
