That would be a brilliant shot if it weren't for the bloody great metal pole. The light's brilliant, and the clouds behind are a nice counterpoint to the low sunlight over the tarmac.

The pole symbolises my wish to piss spaghetti.

There was no other way to get the full plane in shot without one of the many lamp posts intersecting it (plus my daughter kept running off so I had to be quick) unfortunately.

Thanks for the comments

FaxforChinny: This shot was taken within 10' of Keith Harris.

Still trying to figure out what that would do, and if it's your knees or your Compo clones heads at the bottom.

The engine room of the USS Growler, a Diesel-Electric Submarine. Not a great picture, but I loved it in there.

It's a baler. It makes bales of hay or straw.

It is yes :D

It just showed the geek in me really badly when I was at Goodwood and most of my pics consisted of engines and broken down parts :D

Sorry Wullie I'm not quite sure how to do those tagged words mate. So I thought it better left than buggering it up.

It's cool, I was only pulling your leg :DD

For reference, if you quote the FP in one of the old challenges then you can copy/paste the guts of it over, then all you need to do is include a link to the last one.

Ah accept your challenge!

This is living in my Picasa gallery, not being quite good enough for the Flickr site...

Kalmar's third is my fave so far. I love rusty broken stuff :) I have an idea for a pic but I fear the area may well be flooded ATM so I can't get to it :(

Ha ha, that reminds me. I went in the arcade at Fleetwood the other day, my nephew likes the penny falls machines. Anyway you know how besides the money they would balance some prizes on top, usually 20 Regal with a fiver sellotaped around them? Well on this machine one of those items was a pack of Araldite epoxy, with the £4.80 price label still on, presumably so you knew it was a worthy prize.
