Have you got New Twitter yet? I haven't and I'm really cross because people who don't really care have got it and I am excited but I don't have it. It's not fair.

What new twitter? how do you know if you have it?

No. I've seen a video on YouTube. Can you still use custom backgrounds and stuff? It looks as though it's designed for wide screen monitors as well, which seems a bit silly. Unless the main tweet column is narrower than it is now? It looks pretty cool - finally incorporating the features we've been using in Twitter apps for ages.

Yes, I've got it - I didn't realise I was one of the priviliged few. It's nice and all, but I don't really care.

I tend to tweet mainly from either my ipod touch app or Tweetdeck on the PC

It's alright. Has sort of made Tweetdeck a bit obsolete I guess.

I'm on it, and it's nice, but not enough to make me use a web site. Sheer convenience of APIs and apps will never make me use the site as my main way to access Twitter.

I'm still annoyed that it doesn't tweet when you press enter, but yes I have it.

I'd have thought ctrl + enter would have worked, but it doesn't. You do, seemingly, have to press the 'Tweet' button. I don't see this as an issue, but I too get annoyed at small things so I can't criticise.

I only ever tweet from my iPhone, so updates to the website mean nothing to me...

Might not be true. The new Twitter website is quite similar to the new iPad app, and I expect to see more changes to the official mobile clients to bring them closer together. Also, with Twitter building an aggressively featureful new website and giving away free mobile clients, I expect to see fewer and fewer clients from third parties, and more of the existing clients falling by the wayside.

You might be all sniffy and disapproving about Twitter (sufficiently so that you feel the need to point out you think it's worthless rather than just not saying anything) but I met my girlfriend via it so if it's all the same by you I'm going to keep using it.

I had a look at mine and it doesn't look any different to me. I don't really use the site version, though, so unless the new version looks very different I might have the new version and not realise.

It does.

The most annoying thing about the new twitter, is that when you refresh with new tweets, it doesn't have a marker to show you where the new ones start from anymore. The old one used to have a thin line in the tweet list that designated new tweets.

Oh, yes, it does look very different. Interesting. I'm definitely on Ye Olde Twittre, then.

I have it, I prefer to use my phone or the echofon plugin in Firefox though.

I think I use the Twitter website just slightly more often than I use the Xbox 360 client.
