I know a number of you like UFO stuff, so thought I would bring this to your attention:

Multiplayer remake of the original game X-Com: Defence / Ufo: Enemy Uknown. Looks quite nice.

Can't include screenshots as apparently they are too big. Stupid rule.

Not fully released yet, but there is a demo.

What are they doing different to the original? Coz I have the original on Steam.

Hopefully making it so when you attack an alien base they can't blow you up with a Blaster Bomb on your first turn, killing all of your battle hardened squad but one.

Until it crashed, that seemed pretty neat, and near enough exactly what I'd want from a modern day update. But isn't this the 243,802nd time someone's attempted this kind of project? I'd be as surprised as I'd be delighted if they ever release a full version.
